And if there are still undecideds out there, are they really going to want to watch an uninterrupted half-hour of BarryTV?
I mean really. I'm voting for McCain, but I wouldn't watch some goofy half-hour soft-focusy paean to the man. And I don't think most Americans like the idea of a half-hour commercial for a politician - even one like Barry, whose going to heal the planet right after he raises your taxes.

One could understand Perot doing a commerical of that length since he was running as a 3rd Party and had to get himself known.

I know people are really tired of all of this. I wouldn’t watch if it were McCain giving an infomercial, and I (used to) love this stuff. I guess all the swing states are in the East, and this is primetime, but people are just leaving or just getting home from work in the west. Maybe some morons who haven’t heard the Messiah speak, but if he’s going to talk like he’s already the President, I don’t know....
The undecided voters who are most likely to vote Obama are also the exact same voters who will be pissed off that the TV show they normally watch isn’t on and they will NEVER listen to a 30 minute speech. I think it will backfire.
