In a racially blind world, Colin Powells career would have stopped at Lieutenant Colonel. Bingo. Another case of a man who was promoted beyond his competence due to political correctness.

Roger that. He was the Defense Department’s “Magic [you know what]”

Who’s surprised that the africans willingly put “us” first and the USA somewhere further down the list. NOT ME!! That “culture” has mostly been about ME...ME...ME... Wait til all the lib whiteys start getting slapped around and pushed aside and then they’ll know we were right.

Ok, what about Condi?
I've always thought of Colin as a Democrat.

Will those in the ethnic communities who praise Colin and proclaim the decision “color blind’ be as vocal when he comes out to advocate and support gay oral copulation?

This is what I’ve gathered by reading several threads damning Colin Powell for an endorsement that everyone claims they don’t care about anyway:
As a person of color, a vote for Barack Obama is racist because I just care that he’s black and nothing else (and hate white people and whose life accomplishments are purely an Affirmative Action joke.)
According to the MSM, if I *don’t* vote for Barack Obama, it must be because I’m racist and nothing else.
I think this is called a “no-win situation.”

And this will attract whom?! Blacks never did like Powell. They look at him as an “Oreo”. A slave to the man. “It’s not about race”?! This idiot has as little to say about WHY he endorses BO then anyone else you may confront that’s a BO fan. THEY DON’T F-ING KNOW!!

A coup d’état is taking place in our Republic and with our easily subverted, primitive election system there is little or nothing we can do to prevent it.

Im surprised it took so long. They wanted to time it for maximum effect, this takes Joe the Plumber off the plate.

Surprised and disappointed. A betrayal of everything expected of a career military officer and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. He endorsed an Afro-Marxist for the office of President of the United States. A candidate with zero executive or leadership experience. A candidate whose interests are inimical to the United States...and he expects us to believe his endorsement was not based on race. Next up: an endorsement by Dr. Condoliza Rice.

Another one of Bush's PC dumbass picks to come back to bite us in the ass. Bush has been terrible in his picks for administration positions. That has been by far his biggest failure as president.

Don’t confuse Fred Barnes with a conservative. He is a member of the Bill Kristol set, not a conservative.

When Colin Powell was putting out feelers for the 2000 Presidential election cycle initially he did not reveal his party affiliation, nor did he reveal any ideological positions. He milked his had high approval numbers based on personality as long as he could.
In Gulf War I he was a voice of restraint, denying the troops the opportunity to complete the task, hence the genesis of Gulf War II.
Sorry, but to me Powell is at best an empty suit, at worst a timid liberal. It is no surprise here that he backs the more Marxist Muslim candidate.

I’m more in tune with the Joe Plumbers of this world then some another washington elitist.
