'Paul Krugman Wins Nobel Prize in Economics'
Whoop-dee-doo.

Today, winning a Spongebob Squarepants doll at the local carnival has more meaning & value.

We have to get the conservative vote to the polls.

Turn out is the key to victory.

Krugman a Nobel? For what? Mindless rhetoric?

This is right up there with Gore as evidence that the Nobel Committee has lost it’s collective marbles.

As an Economist, Krugman is highly respected. Its a shame that he is hyper-partisan, however, as it often seems to intrude even into his economic opinions.

A joke. Absolutely political.

Comparable to Al Franken winning the Literature prize for “Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot.”

Being ‘highly respected’ economist and being a socialist are contradictory by nature. Just further proof that these awards have nothing to do with their intended subjects and everything to do with politics.

“Krugman a Nobel? For what? Mindless rhetoric?”

This is what liberals do. They nominate and vote for each other for highly prestigious awards. If they lose they can still say they were nominated. If they win they cash in big and get HUGE CREDIBILITY in policy arguments. They are thereafter refered to as the NOBEL prize winning expert in whatever. The winners often get to chair the awards committe meetings and nominate their buds as members. They in turn nominate their friends. It’s a self pertpetuating win win for them. Stupid conservatives nominate by merit and get shut out thereafter if a Lib wins.

Algore and Jimmuh Cahtuh won peace prizes, so anything's possible with this bunch.
