September 17, 2008 SERBIANNA
Serbian infants, some in incubators, are on a verge of death because of lack of oxygen that is deliberately held back until Kosovo Serbs recognize Kosovo as an independent state.
"If you want your babies and elderly to live, if you want oxygen, recognize independent Kosovo," quotes a message Dr. Stojan Sekulic from the General Hospital in Gracanica received.
Dr. Sekulic says that the separatist authorities in the province have seized oxygen bottles sent to his hospital from Belgrade and have told him that they will be delivered only when Serbs recognize Kosovo.
Spokesman for UNMIK at the administrative border crossing at Kosovo says that the driver of the oxygen shipment only had a bill that the oxygen was paid for.
"That was absolutely inadequate. He did not have complete documentation for imports. To enter Kosovo he needed to have a permission by the Ministry of Health of an independent Kosovo," says the spokesman.
The spokesman added that the oxygen will be released only when a complete documentation is submitted.
Hospital in Gracanica has nearly run out of oxygen.
Dude, why aren’t you voting for George Washington? If you’re going to throw your vote away on someone who can’t possibly be inaugurated, go for perfection.
I’m no fan of the Kosovo War, but I have to ask, has anyone stopped to thhink that Serbianna might not be the most credible news source in the world?
I’ll be keeping an eye on him, my FRiend.
I've always wanted a big brother!
She oughta keep you out of trouble.
As for me, I'm gonna stick with Serbian girls, but thanks anyway :-)
Who says she’s not Serbian?
My wife’s from Milwaukee, and still hot...I just thought a girl from DU would have more in common with you than a girl from Milwaukee.
So, cruise on over to DU and you’ll definitely find some girls who think like you...and they’ll be very grateful when you’re done.
Well, she’s certainly big enough to be from Milwaukee, but if your wife is Serbian, she’s the biggest Serbian girl I’ve ever seen. Still, not my type. You may love the big girls, but that’s your taste. To each their own :-)
He’s really a Royal’s fan I bet. (no offense KC! ;) )
I think you have trouble reading.
My wife doesn’t look anything like the woman in the picture.
The woman in the picture is typical of the sort of women waiting for you at DU. You’ll be able to get past any physical revulsion, I’m sure, once you realize what true soulmates you are.
I've been ripping on "the guy who shall be nameless" for 15 years, and I've been plenty vocal about my distaste for him on this site the entire time I've been here. At one point I was one of the darlings of FreeRepublic because by pointing out the horrendous flaws of "the guy who shall be nameless", I was helping George W. Bush. My point of view was very welcome here then.
NOBODY here liked "the person who shall be nameless". Now he's supposedly the best thing since sliced bread because he isn't "their guy"? GMAFB. I don't play that way, and I don't believe the fact that people would suddenly and enthusiastically throw "the guy who shall be nameless" up on their collective shoulders just because he isn't "their guy" is either good for the country, or good for the souls of the people that all of a sudden believe they've found some sort of new hero.
I'm simply being consistent, and last I knew, that was a quality character trait. Now I find myself on the outside and playing the roll of the bad guy. I'm no longer politically correct on FreeRepublic while my views have not changed one tiny bit. Laughingly, I've now got folks telling me I belong over at some ridiculous Democrats site now. Since when did political correctness become a major part of the conservatism? Did I miss a meeting?
Pitching wins the World Series, and we just didn't have the horses that year like we did in 2005.
That ball hit deep! Way back! He looks up............You can put it on the boooooaaaaarrrrddddd... YES!
And incidentally, 1977 would've been Harry Caray, and the call would've been "Ball hit deep! It might be . . . it could be . . . IT IS! A home run! HO-ly cow!"
There usually was a “way back” between “ball hit deep” and “it might be,” but you couldn’t hear it over the beer bottles being knocked-over as Harry stood up.
Beer bottles at the ballpark? I thought they only allowed cans? :^)
I think they're two seperate issues, but that is correct. That is what I believe. It's not that I have some sort of admiration of Obama either. If Obama is elected, I don't expect things to get better at all. I couldn't stand Clinton either, but the fact remains - our country was much more respected when he was the president than it is now.
That observation in no way should be confused with the ridiculous idea that I'm an Obama supporter. Anybody that believes that has a very over-active imagination. They're dead wrong. I'm just callin' it like I sees it. That don't mean I'm loving what I'm seeing.

Harry Carey and Jimmy Piersal were the best! I loved those guys together. The friggin' Cubs fans (hopefully I'm still allowed to bash them here) believe they discovered Harry Carey when in fact they inherited a washed up and warn out version of the gem we had. He was just a shell of his former self when he was with the Flubbies.
With Harry, it was empty cans of Falstaff! :-D
Definitely many beer bottles in that booth between Caray and Piersall. I was to young to drink, but old enough to recognize the sound.
I agree that you shouldn’t justifiably be accused of supporting Obama. Your problem is that, when you implied that you do not support McCain on principle and combined it with that comment about Obama, you left the impression that you have no principles at all.
Thank you, and you’re right. I guess I did sort of imply support of Obama with my sloppy posting. I suppose I was assuming my obvious disgust with Biden made it clear that there was no way in hell I would be supporting that ticket.
