I never heard it either. I have in fact heard stories of interviews in Alaska where colleagues had said she returned after 3 days. Sounds more likely. Smear the woman for being a quick healer, sounds about right.

You could be right. I wouldn’t put it past them to find some medical “expert” who claims her activities as Governor (and maybe her hunting and shooting), cause her baby’s Downs Syndrome. If that’s the tact they take, it will backfire on them big time to anyone with any shred of morality. Honestly, Palin’s popularity has caused the Left to become positively unhinged.

Only if they got it from medical records. If they didn’t then they have libeled her but becuase she’s a public figure and they are a media outlet they get a free pass since the bar is so high.

This election just might be the final nail in the coffin of the drive by media.

Much rather get an informed, educated, less bribed electorate.

It’s been a while since I’ve actively posted, so I missed that he/she/it was most likely a concern troll. Thanks.

"Are they pushing the story that Sarah is claiming Bristol’s baby as her own? "

If so SHP could hold up her son's birth certificate and ask, "Now may we see yours, Barack Obama?"

And you cannot, in good conscience, not question a Leftist news source already nailed for spreading vicious lies, right?

You should probably sit this one out, Bucky. You don’t have the stomach for hard-knuckle politics. Hand-wringing only makes your hands look old.

No, my guess it could be additional information on the health of baby.

Maybe it is a story claiming she “recklessly” ignored her doctor’s advice before and during her pregnancy.

Could they dodge editorial responsibility this way?

I doubt it. In Drudge’s parlance it may also means simply that the Times is going to put it on the Front Page and whether it is above or below the fold gives the story more importance by NYT standards.

Expose? Are they pushing the story that Sarah is claiming Bristol’s baby as her own? I don’t know what other expose there could be.

Maybe they are going to expose the Obama/DNC's involvement in the smear campaign to say that Trig is really the daughters baby?

I believe we had our chance to muzzle them a few years ago and missed it. Remember when the NYT exposed a top secret, highly sucessful program to track and cut off terrorist money? Can anyone explain to me why the writer, editors and manager are not in prison?

I just got a $400 ticket because my 1st grader was not in a car seat (he was belted in, in the back seat).

I’m in CA and I didn’t realize the law had changed in between my 3rd and 4th children. It’s now age 6 or 60 lbs.

Since I got the ticket I read there is no difference in death rates from accidents of a 5 yr old who are belted in with no booster vs. belted in with a booster.

I hate the nanny state!

The theory may be that at some point, Sarah will throw up her hands and say “as much as I would like to be VP, having my family trashed with utterly baseless but vile scurrilous charges every day on the front page of all the major newspapers in this country and on the TV and cable channels is too high a price to pay.”

This is a very high risk strategy for the mainstream media to undertake as another possible outcome is that Sarah stays, the public is repulsed by what the MSM is doing, McCain wins a huge victory and the worst of the MSM is visiting bankruptcy judges.

Good catch good picture.

See here:

They landed in Anchorage around 10:30 p.m. Thursday and an hour later were at the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Wasilla.

Baldwin-Johnson said she had to induce labor, and the baby didn’t come until 6:30 a.m. Friday.

“It was smooth. It was relatively easy,” Palin said. “In fact it was the easiest of all,” probably because Trig was small, at 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Palin said she wanted him born in Alaska but wouldn’t have risked anyone’s health to make that happen.

“You can’t have a fish picker from Texas,” said Todd.

Palin said she won’t take maternity leave but will go with Trig to doctor’s visits, physical therapy, whatever he needs. She’s breast feeding and plans to bring Trig to work with her, just as she did with Piper.

The NYT already had three stories on the front page last week about Bristol’s baby. The NYT has become a gossip tabloid and lost whatever pretense they had about being journalists. They are engaged in the politics of personal destruction as they see their Golden Boy sink below the waves. They are getting desperate.
