Now there's an intriguing thought. Makes sense, as even the Times cannot be that clueless. The backlash already caused by the media intrusion and vicious accusations have only hurt Obama and the MSM. I can't see them going back for seconds.
It could be that Drudge is simply yanking chains, knowing everyone will jump to conclusions about the nature of the story, when it's just a legitimate feature profile. Or, as you said, they'd give the story front page placement if they've uncovered direct ties between the smears and the Obama campaign. I hope you're right.

You are all wrong. It is a standard tactic of Drudge to get clicks to his website. By doing a developing story which is outrageous, the people offended by it or encouraged by it will click on his web page to read it. There are over 300 messages on this thread now. Multiple that by 10 clicks per person to see if the story has changed and you can get some idea of how successful the tactic is.
I would bet there will be no front page story on the NYT about the baby. Rather it will be on the collapse of Freddie and Fannie.
OK, on the baby, the story appears to have been knocked down by one of Palin’s own enemies from Alaska. I still don’t know what the hell this is about. The e-mail is genuine and speaks to the baby. The woman obviously dislikes Palin and admits to as much since 1996. Obviously there are issues between the two.

Having said this, there is something that could be a problem and I’m trying to run it down. That pertains to the librarian business. But the NYT is not doing that story. ??????
Right now on FOX News is Greta’s “An American Woman”. I watched it last night and Sarah mentions when she went back to work but I was on the phone and couldn’t hear. I’m sure it wasn’t the next day.
