Its all garbage. None of these polls will mean anything until the week before the election.

Very, very nice. The Obamessiah's big day fell off, and the real impact of Palin Power and the convention hasn't really kicked in yet.

Saw in an article this morning the RNC raised $17 million the past two days.

The big Obama Monday number rolls off.

McCain needs to lead by a few percent tommorrow - Monday for his bounce to survive its own erosion.

Newt said wait until early next week to see the Palin bounce.

Obama's internal polls must show he is toast.

Proof begging Hillary to campaign to act as a stealth VP nominee.

In 1996, Bob Dole was behind 2 points the day after the convention ended. It was never again so close.

Voters are evenly divided as to whether Palin or Obama has the better experience to be President.
Game. Set. Match.

Note: “Tracking Poll results are based upon nightly telephone interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. Virtually all of the interviews for today’s update were completed before McCain’s speech last night. Roughly two-thirds of the interviews were completed before Palin’s speech on Wednesday night.”

And that is a 3 day rolling average of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I would imagine that the single day of Thursday has McCain/Palin ahead by 3 or more points.

In 2004 the democrats led right after their convention. The republicans took the led after their own convention and kept it for the rest of the election. This will probably be a 3 point McCain lead tomorrow.

Just for reference, Obama was +4 yesterday without leaners and +5 with leaners. So today the gap has closed by 3.

I want a poll of where are the add buys?

In which states are candidates buying air time?

Obama is pushing the notion that without colorado mccain can’t win.

Which states are so safe that there is no effort to fight there?

I hope Palin goes to California to help the downticket.

Sarah Palin must DEMAND that the bullshit "ethics inquiry" be released by Sept 20. The MSM/Obama/Soros Axis announced the "Oct 31" date to give Palin no time to respond to their hatchet job before Election Day.

FULL FRONTAL ASSAULT on this terrorist who posed as a "police officer", who threatened to KILL Palin's father and TASERED his own 12-year old son. Get the story out. Women across America will rally to Sarah's cause.

BAM!

Remember folks...
This is a TRACKING POLL, taken over several days. And Obama is trending DOWN, big-time now.

2/3rds BEFORE the Palin speech? WOW!
Little wonder then that the Dems are acting so terrified.

It is hard to tell from the rolling 3-day averages (rounded to the nearest integer) what the numbers were from Thursday (post-Palin speech, pre-McCain speech). But looking at the averages for the past week, it would appear that Thursday's poll produced approximately a 49-44 McCain advantage.

If McCain at least retains that 49% number (maybe goes higher with further press coverage of Palin's speech), he'll be in the 47-48 range on Rasmussen. Again, this is all speculation because the raw, daily numbers aren't available (or at least I don't see them).

Not a big fan of Intrade and their past Screwups, but Obama is down to 54%.

Lowest for months. McCain, (Really Palin) is surging.
