Wow, Wow, a Thousand Times Wow

What did we see tonight?

Tonight, we either saw a watershed in American politics, a tour de force, the most striking and graceful debut in our nation’s political life, and a national introduction that makes Barack Obama’s 2004 convention address look like small potatoes… or we saw what we wanted to see, and the country’s persuadable independents saw something else. I’m afraid to believe. If I’m wrong, I don’t really know what Americans want. I know conservatives are thrilled to pieces, and they ought to be. She knocked it out of the park. I don’t think she could have delivered that speech any better. Even if I hadn’t suggested a line, I would say that the speech hit almost every note just right. (Did the Obama fans feel this way? Is this what their exultation feels like? Wonderful. I’m glad they get to experience it too.)

My e-mail box is thrilled. Cam's Talkbackers are thrilled — "you called down the thunder, and now ya have it."

The libs are calling her “sarcastic and mean”.

well, i called that earlier today... i said before she's spoken a single word, the libs and media will say she is mean spirited, angry, bitter... which she was not--at all!

Nope! She knocked it out of the earth's gravitational pull!

Sarah is a seriously silky smooth stiletto assasin. Obama is bleeding and he doesn’t even know it yet.
Even the initial retort was soooooo lame “A speechwriter wrote it”... Well, i’ll be very happy to listen to Obama’s first self written speech.
Something tells me she’ll show her fangs a little better in the more intimate setting of a one to one debate with Biden.

Rudy gutted Nobama and Sarah skinned the carcass. Laughting at this idiot is the best way to destroy him.

We have a mildly autistic son. The way Mrs. Palin talked about Trig brought tears to Mrs. GBC’s eyes.

She won a whole heck of alot of votes and affection from parents everywhere, not just parents of children with special needs. I think every parent is touched by her love for her child with down syndrome.

Kennie is a bitterender Paulbot. Nothing anyone does is ever going to be good enough. You are wasting your time trying to reason with it.

No offense to Mr Heath or Nancy Reagan but I think we just found Ronald Reagan’s unknown love child / long lost daughter!

Like Ronaldus Magnus, Missus Sarah Palin the Governor of Alaska is a former sportscaster and it shows.

I always wondered what would happen if Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher had a child. I think it would be Sarah Palin.

I know it was a written speech, but she looked as though she never even made eye contact with a teleprompter.

She will now be president, America’s first female leader.

Reagan predicted the first woman president would be a Republician. The man was so right on so many things. Greatness will always do that.
