You know the old software programmer's excuse: "that's not a bug. That's a feature!" John Harwood of CNBC/NYT came up with a political variation on the theme this morning to buff up Joe Biden. Biden's gaffes, including the racially-insensitive ones, are actually . . . "a strength."
Harwood was chatting with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on a special Morning Joe edition today, and the topic of Biden's famous "clean and articulate" comment about Obama arose. Biden also made headlines of course with his crack about 7-11s being populated by people with Indian accents.
JOHN HARWOOD: He is not somebody who is infused with political correctness, the verbal equivalent of putting his pinky up when he opens his mouth. So this is what, the way ordinary voters are as well. They're not always worried about sort of calibrating every single word by "ooh, is this racially insensitive?" That's something that Joe Biden brings as an asset to the ticket. The gaffes actually show one of his strengths.

“Just Biden Time”
So, we've had several Blacks (e.g. Whoopi Goldberg) who have explained to us that it's ok for Blacks to use the *n* word but not ok for Whites to use the word. It's ok for Black rappers to use many offensive words but not ok for Whites to use those same words.
Now, we're finding out that Joe Biden's obviously racial put downs are ok... because he's a limosine liberal.
Control freaks ... one and all...
While I don't use the * n * I will use the following on these maniacs --> b*tch a@@ punks one and all.
It is very, very telling that the lib pundits are out this quickly covering over Biden’s gaffes. It says they are very worried about his mouth. Already making apologies and excuses for things he has yet to say.
WOW, so are conservatives now allowed to be “politically incorrect” according to sycophantic Demagogues suck-ups like Harwood??? No, I didn’t think so.....
But Biden is not “politically incorrect” in any interesting ways, i.e., he does not use blunt language to reveal any important truths - he just reveals his own swollen ego.
Do we really need to answer that, Joe?
John Harwood calmly predicted Walter Mondale would handily beat Norm Coleman in 2002, and he repeated that often. Hey John, you couldn’t have been more wrong.
Yeah, but I'll bet Biden knows where to get him a huntin' license.
Bug.
Comes from the old mainframe days when computers utilized electro mechanical relays instead of modern day transistors to perform computation.
A bug would get trapped between a relay's contacts thus preventing electric conduction.
Silk purse, sows ear....
