What is the “Wholly” Synod? I’ve been a Catholic all my life and never heard of that.

this is only half of what cardinal Casper stated, he actually continued his remark my “... but second ones (Serbs) are severely unable to exercise their rights in kosovo. Destruction of Christian churches on Kosovo, just shows animosity between two confessions (Christians and Muslims), So Vatican did not recognized Kosovo and have no intention to do so in any near future”

Kosovo will become a Mordor for Al Queda.

Wow!! I'm not the biggest fan of Cdl. Casper, but this is a very brave stand on the part of the Vatican. Wish our State Dept could be so sensible and brave.

>>>”Vatican will not recognize Kosovo”

What could be so hard about recognizing Kosovo.

It has dinky little one and a half lane blacktop roads, villages that look like Borat lives there, mountains, a funny flag, goats everywhere, deodorant use and leg-shaving is rather non-typical, and there is a big sign at the border that says “Welcome to Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, Prime Minister, Watch Your Valuables and Pronunciations At All Times”

If they have anywhere near normal vision, how could they not recognize Kosovo! It's hard to confuse with anywhere else!

The new Pope is getting down to brass tacks.

I guess it's a big.."uh-oh" for the islamic thugs.

Now for a bit of the old crusades in Europe.

But the B92 version of this only says that the Vatican won't recognize it now which means they won't necessarily hold firm to that position. The Vatican has committed too many sins/evil deeds against Serbs to be trusted.

I think the Pope understands and sees what a Muslim Kosovo means for all of Christianity. He wisely does not want to be part of this theft of Christian land. Yes Christian land because this land belonged to the church.

If you look at history, Muslims, long before the Al Qaeda nonsense was even thought up, were in the business of taking Christian lands and making them Muslim. Churches were made into Mosques and Christians were forced to convert or face a blade across their neck. However, once they converted they were granted titles and that is how Islam has and is still spreading.

They couldn't care less as to why NATO helped them, all they know is they have an opportunity to spread their disease deeper into Europe.

That’s a good sign...I hope the Vatican keeps its word...but I won’t hold my breath. The KLA terror statelet reeks illegitimacy.
