Jimmy Carter is an evil man. It is painful to label a past president of the United States as a force for darkness. But it is dangerous to let a man like Jimmy Carter stalk around the globe cloaked in the garb of American royalty, planting the seeds of Western civilization's destruction.
On Tuesday, former President Carter met with leaders of the terrorist group Hamas. He embraced Nasser al-Shaer, the man who has run the Palestinian education system, brainwashing children into believing Jews are the descendants of pigs and dogs. He laid a wreath at the grave of Yasser Arafat, the most notorious terrorist thug of the 20th century. Then, he had the audacity to offer to act as a conduit between the Palestinian Arabs and the Israeli and U.S. governments. This is somewhat like Lord Haw-Haw offering to broker peace between the German and British governments during World War II.
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter visits the grave of late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the West Bank city of Ramallah April 15, 2008. During his visit to Ramallah on Tuesday, Carter said he planned to meet Palestinian political leaders, including Naser al-Shaer, who served as deputy prime minister in the Hamas-led government formed after the 2006 election. REUTERS/Atef Safadi/Pool (WEST BANK) Related Media: VIDEO: Controversial Trip VIDEO: Meeting With Terror Carter is a notorious anti-Semite and an even more notorious terrorism- enabler. In particular, he is a huge supporter of Palestinian violence. He considered himself a friend to Arafat, as Jay Nordlinger of National Review wrote in his masterful 2002 piece, "Carterpalooza!": After the Gulf War, when Saudi Arabia was perturbed by Arafat's support for Saddam Hussein, Carter flew to the country at Arafat's behest to soothe the Saudis. In 1990, Carter told Arafat, "You should not be concerned that I am biased. I am much more harsh with the Israelis." He then proceeded to agree with Arafat that "the Reagan administration was not renowned as promise keepers," according to Douglas Brinkley.
Carter subsequently wrote one of Arafat's speeches, penning these vomit-inducing lines: "A good opening would be to outline the key points of the Save the Children report Then ask: 'What would you do, if these were your children and grandchildren? As the Palestinian leader, I share the responsibility for them. Our response has been to urge peace talks, but the Israeli leaders have refused, and our children continue to suffer. Our people, who face Israeli bullets, have no weapons: only a few stones remaining when our homes are destroyed by the Israeli bulldozers.' Then repeat: 'What would you do, if these were your children and grandchildren?' This exact litany should be repeated with a few other personal examples."
Not surprisingly, Carter's ardent hatred for Israel translates into a Jeremiah Wright-esque hatred for the United States -- the country he has never forgiven for throwing him out on his ear in 1980 in favor of Ronald Reagan.
Here's Carter on America's refusal to fund Hamas: "Innocent Palestinian people are being treated like animals, with the presumption that they are guilty of some crime. Because they voted for candidates who are members of Hamas, the United States government has become the driving force behind an apparently effective scheme of depriving the general public of income, access to the outside world and the necessities of life."
Jimmy Carter is all about Jimmy Carter. During his presidency, he gave up the Panama Canal and allowed the Ayatollahs to take power in Iran -- all for the praise of the international community. In 1980, he asked the Soviet Union to release Jewish emigrants, hoping that such action would soften American feeling against the USSR and thereby swing the presidential election to him. In 1984, he told the Russians that if Reagan were re-elected, there would not "be a single agreement on arms control, especially on nuclear arms, as long as Reagan remained in power." In 2002, Carter accepted the Nobel Peace Prize, despite a clear indication by Nobel Committee members that the prize was meant as a rebuke to President Bush.
Does all this make Carter evil, or just a useful idiot? By all accounts, Carter is highly intelligent -- perhaps the most intelligent president of the last 50 years. It would be foolish to write him off as simply naive. He is quite willing to be used by dictators from Venezuela to Cuba to North Korea, so long as helping them polishes his legacy. For almost three decades, Carter has pandered to enemies of Western civilization, shielding his treasonous behavior with the title of "ex-president." His Hamas-hugging is just the latest entry in a political diary that would make Osama Bin Laden proud.
I remember he even pissed off Clinton screwing things up there as well.
The guy is a problem for our country.
To paraphrase Sir Winston Churchill,
“An empty limousine pulled up at the gravesite of Yassir Arafat in the city of Ramallah, and Jimmy Carter got out.”
I’m with the rabbit!!!
His father is the lord of this world who is Satan.
Arafat impoverished his own people to live like a king.
Ah, Carter, the reason why we have to fear North Korea. He is like the King Midas in Reverse on foreign policy. Say how badly Herbert Hoover was on economic policy, at least on foreign policy he didn’t screw anything up. Carter, on the other hand, wants us to know that he was bad in anything he has done and is the worst President. Why Palestine? What a knucklehead.
Why can’t Mr. Liberal Human Rights go to Tibet, or China, or help the Zimbabwe election crisis? His Administration helped put Robert Mugabe in power(a legacy like the Ayathollah(SP?)). Oh he is too busy following his current line that is so disgraceful even his closest supporters are calling him an Anti-Semite.
Who would have thought the brother who used to pee in public in airports would turn out to be the best Carter?
Where’s van Helsing when you need him?
Senility is a terrible thing.
Makes sense to me...
"Jimmy, it's dad! I want you to put flowers on Arafat's grave. He likes "Pussywillows", at least that's what I heard from the abyss. Ooooo! Say a prayer to me when you get there, try to look solemn...knyuk, knyuk, knyuk!"
Don’t forget, Arafat also ordered the murderer of US Ambassador Cleo Noel!
Perhaps there is something that could keep Carter on U.S. soil. The laws governing Secret Service protection should be altered just a bit, so that they can only protect ex-presidents on U.S. soil.
Let Carter go to Israel with no protection.
I check the news every day hoping to read of his demise.
I don’t remember her saying that, but then she never had a smidgen of class anyway. I’m surprised whe didn’t eat with her feet at the White House.
“Senility is a terrible thing.”
I can’t speak to Carter’s possible senility. But I don’t see that this action represents any sort of change from the anti-American activities of Carter’s past 20 years.
Meester Jimmah, a legend in his own mind.
the worst POTUS in US history just embelishing his legacy...
anti-america/anti-semetic lib/dem....a true model of his party...few of which have said anything about this a-hole laying a wreath at the grave of arafat!!!
Seriously. Doesn’t the Secret Service have a duty to keep this guy from endangering others as well as himself?
Who cares if the old coot endangers himself
Is Secret Service protection a right of ex-presidents or a courtesy granted because of their status. Also can a President advise an ex-pres that the Secret Service protection is only guaranteed domestically, not outside of the U.S.?
It might make a difference to Carter and Clinton if they knew that their protection could be suspended or done away with altogether.
Well on this thread, I see that great minds are thinking alike. (Should have read through, but Jimmy peanut always makes my blood boil).
“Jimmy Carter: Emissary of Evil “
Always has been, ever since the NWO put him in the White House.
And he refuses to talk to Fox News...this is a former president!
I was thinking this was one of the best things I've ever read about Carter until the "highly intelligent" comment. I was more content to see him as an egotistical simpleton with delusions of having a grand place in history if only Reagan hadn't gotten in the way, a view merely made Carter an often dangerously useful idiot.
Maybe he is intelligent. Maybe he is super intelligent.
Doesn't make him wise.
One of the smartest people I know can't pour piss out of a boot unless you tell him the directions are on the heel.
And he got taken for several thousand dollars by the Nigerians when they were just sending air mail letters.
Great analogy :-).
Carter is the worst President on record. I feel sorry for those submariners serving on the sub named after him.
Book learning is no guarantee of having a shred of common sense.
My fear this election season is that Obama could take his place as the worst President ever.
Secret Service protection should not be given to ex-presidents who travel outside the U.S.. That would put a stop to those like this idiot and Clinton who travel abroad to bash the United States.
I picture Carter and Ramsey Clark buried up to their heads in ice gnawing at each other’s head for all eternity. (With full credit to Dante Alighieri).
|DFU SONG: Black and White (whether Carter or Clinton was the worst will be debated forever)
DFU SONG PARODIES ^ | 8-2006 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland
There's some who say Bill Clinton's worse
Each one had sucked in his own way
One's known for rape, that's clear to most
Each one had sucked in his own way
Each one we've come to so abhor
So much was done by scumbag Bill
There's some who say Bill Clinton's worse
I guess he’s simply a Communist.
Looking Back at Life
By Ed Koch
April 15, 2008
I came to know Carter well.
When he ran for re-election, he asked me to campaign for him in 1980 - I was by then Mayor of New York City -- and I said that I would vote for him, but not campaign for him because he was then engaging in hostile acts towards Israel. I was popular with the Jewish community and when I would not campaign for him unless he changed his position, he called me to his hotel in New York when attending a fundraiser and said, "You have done me more damage than any man in America."
I felt proud then, and even more today, since we now know what a miserable president he was then and the miserable human being he is now as he prepares to meet with Hamas.
Trust me that one guy is on Freeper dead pool every year
I get the feeling I feel sorry for him a bit I think dude is suffering from case of demteria
I think he even back in da day he is avowed Anti Semtric there is old school LA Story about President Reagan was telling him stories about his time in Hollyweird all the movie moguls
Jimmy reportedly said who care about Hebs
I called my Senators and complained about that peanut farmer brained idiot.
I see now how 50 Senators have written letters to have him stopped.
Call your Senators and let them know how you feel.
If/when a Muslim nuke goes off in an American city, Carter will be instantly transformed into object to be universally reviled. Anybody who was alive in 1979 knows how he screwed the pooch with Iran.
He’s Dhimmi Carter now.
Then in an interview over the weekend Mr. Carter had this to say about dealing with democracies versus dictatorships. From the Wall Street Journal:
"In a democracy, I realize you don't need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that's the dictator, because he speaks for all the people."
OMG - WHAT THE HELL is WRONG WITH THAT MAN??????? Somebody needs to have a serious talk with his relatives about having him put away...maybe in a rest home, or something. He's really losing it. Stick him back in Habitat for Humanity and shut him up. DAMN!
The Secret Service protection statute should be rewritten to exclude former presidents who perform acts that are treasonous to the United States.
I know a lot of liberals who think he’s a great man for pounding nails and building houses. Carter always picks evil in any battle with good. He always has.
Mr. Shapiro got that right.
Carter is highly intelligent -- perhaps the most intelligent president of the last 50 years
Mr. Shapiro got that wrong. Jimmy Carter is that rarest of beings, an evil moron.
Carter is a self righteous, incompetent busybody.
