Please tell me if it was a Republican or a Democrat in the White house that left our military “out to dry” in 1975.

As I said earlier, I have a stake in this as far as military matters go....I don’t take this lightly.

I would love to see this ticket. I would love to see them pretend to pander to the MSM but run a completely new campaign. Use media and communications. Actually do some powerpoints. Use analogies. Humor. Hire guys like Marc Benioff. Really take a message of freedom and enterprise and self-reliance and hope to the people. “you can be better than you think you can be.” emphasis tolerance and hardwork. “If we get the government off your backs we can win a fair fight.” Show specifics about leveling the international playing field.

You just know Hillary will be negative to the max.

I won’t comment on your butting into something that’s not your business.

You say you "won’t" but, in fact, you just did. How clever.

One would expect if you wanted to conduct your little spat in private, you would have taken it to email.

See, this is a public forum. So, by definition, whatever we post here is for public consumption and subject to public comment.

Go back to bed.

LOL. You're just one bright ray of sunshine after another!

For someone whose faux-conservative hero managed to take in a plurality in his home state last night, you sure seem cranky.

"Go back to bed," indeed.

The best part of this result is watching Debbie Schlussel try to come up with a feeble excuse for yet another dead-wrong pronouncement.

But remember, Romney had to win here. It’s not a huge victory, but a relief for his campaign. Will it give him any momentum? Very limited, I predict.

I’m amazed that Fox Sports hasn’t signed her up to do in-studio analysis for the NFL playoffs yet.

She would fit right in with Jimmy Johnson & Co.

“Tell that to the tens of thousand of Marines and Navy here in San Diego.”

Yes, California is 3 or 4 states all rolled into one. I spent my honeymoon up in Cedarville (Modoc County, near Alturas) and loved it. They go 70-80% R every election. All just farmer boys, ranch hands, small businessmen, restaurant owners and prairie riders.

Well, it's certainly easy to see why they keep it up. ;O)

Yup I agree, Fox with their liberals masquerading as conservatives is a joke, I couldn't stomach watching them. CNN at least has Lou Dobbs.

I voted for Mike Huckabee. I’m not dumb, and I am conservative. I would even say very conservative. Keep on painting with your broad strokes, newbie. You don’t know a dang thing about me.

I don't know if there are term limits on governorship in CA, but that's where I'd love to see Duncan. He has all the makings of a gold-standard Republican. He has to have executive experience of a very real kind before he can make a successful Presidential bid. Being one out of 435 doesn't cut it, no matter how fine a man he may be.

I love the guy. His time has not yet come.

Me, too. I’m coping with my son’s desire to serve in the Marines or the Army after sixteen years of infertility treatment to produce him (and, only him). I have one MAJOR stake in this one. It had better be someone who can equip and protect my most precious child or I’m gonna’ be one mean momma. He’s back and forth between the Marines and the Army recruiting offices every other day and wants to sign up as soon as he completes his education (sooner, if I’d let him). He loves his country and wants to serve a higher calling. I’m proud and terrified.
