Yes, there is a conservative party now...and 4 years of liberalism in the WH will reinforce that conservative base and make it stronger.

IMO.

Option 4, but it would have to be a conservative party (no Ron Paul, though)

McCain has no policies that attract me and I think the WOT will continue just the same under HRC, so I can’t see any reason to not make a protest vote.

6) Remove my spleen with an eyelash curler.

Truth be told, I'd probably hold my nose and pull the "RINO" lever.

We are a long way from the end of this process. IA and NH traditionally were weather vanes on the future. Not any more. This election, more states play in the caucus/primary game. It's not about one or two states, it's about ALL of them.

In that circumstance anything can happen. We might see a 'Dean moment' at any time from ANY of the candidates. Nothing is written in stone.

In that regard, ANY of the Repubs will be better than ANY of the Dims.

And remember this is not just about control of the WH. It's about SCOTUS appointments.

The war, SS, abortion, 2nd Amendment, immigration, and any of the other issues facing the country are secondary to SCOTUS appointments. IMHO.

I have held my nose for far too many elections.....

McCain will not win in the south...especially Texas...We have a border that the little weasel ignores!

Anyone who sits it out is not really Pro-Life.
To let a baby murderer occupy the White House again is an absolute travesty.

No way. McLame would open go for amnesty and open the borders. No way I would ever vote for McCain.

I agree. I’d rather have a liberal democrat in the White House than a liberal McCain. The country and party could recover quicker in through the next election. I am of the opinion that McCain would be worse to the conservative movement if he won than any democRAT winner.

I don’t think it will come to that. Let’s see what happens when he get to a primary where there are just Republicans voting.

No. Can’t vote for McCain. I’ve alternately liked him and hated him over the years. He’d still get my vote were it not for his pro-AMNESTY efforts. That’s the single thing that kills it. There’s no way on earth I’d ever vote for him after that. It would be the first time in my entire life I’d not vote for the Republican on the ticket.

Third party? I dunno. Maybe. I wouldn’t stay home. I’d go to the polls at very least to support my Rep congressman (who is great, by the way).

OK keep your oath and elect a democrat who is absolutely going to allow in millions more and make citizens of every single one. That is just plain counterproductive, but have fun with your oath.

Like friggin’ Juan wouldn’t?

From Thompson’s point of view, win or lose, being on the actual national ticket once raises his eventual chances at the office itself, dramatically. He can wait.

I'd have to hold my nose, cover my eyes, and bathe for hours afterward, but I'd vote for McAmnesty over the 'Rats, but that's only because the next President will likely be choosing a Supreme Court justice and handling Iran.

If I had to vote for McCain, it would be the last time I ever voted with such regret and would vote 3rd party the next time.

1) Vote for McCain

You can’t always have filet mignon for dinner. Sometimes you have to grab a Moon Pie.

Hillary would like to thank you all for your 3rd party votes.

All joking aside...

John McCain admits that he broke under torture in captivity to our enemies. I don’t claim that he is a bad person for this nor do I denigrate his honorable service to this country under extreme circumstances. I certainly don’t think I could have done better.

HOWEVER, the leader of the free world should not be a sympathy or honorary vote for a broken man. Suffering is not the only qualification to elevate a man to our highest office.

I would hold my nose and vote for McCain.

The judges he appoints will be far different than the ones any Democrat would appoint.

I foresee a low voter turn out due to the lackluster of the candidates that are running.

Yeah I noticed that nobody wants to do a comparison of numbers who turned out last night for democrats vs those who turned out for republicans.

I refuse to whistle past the graveyard and it isn't a pretty sight.
