It seems the plan to remove Turkey as a supply route failed for Al Queda....oops...the Democrats.

Maybe there is some patriotism left in the Blue Dogs. There certainly isn’t any in the party leadership. In fact, just read the tag line.

Excuse me, but the Dims have brought this up 3 times now. The first time was back in the early 1990s. Then, with Slick Willie’s first administration, WHILE the Marxists still controlled the Congress BEFORE the Republicans won in 94. THE ONE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION TO THE WHINING MARXISTS: Why did you not put it in and pass it during Slick’s administration??????? If it was SOOOOOOOOO FREAKING important, why did you not pass it the first day Slick got into the White House and while you still controlled the Congress???? WHY NANCY???? WHY NOT THEN???

Pelosi and other Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill, who have fiercely defended the resolution to Republicans and the Bush administration as a moral imperative

Complete and utter BS. Just what I'd expect from this buffoonish Congress led by the Speaker-of-the-Clowns. She's made a real mess of things. I wonder if Congress' approval ratings could actually go into negative numbers.

Oh well. Nancy can always try an apology and a bill to jam reparations for the Civil War through before the elections.

The stupid woman damaged relations with Turkey anyway.

Over the centuries, the country has survived some abysmally idiotic, moronic, stupid, incompetent Congressional knuckleheads, but never so many at one time!

Pelosi fails again. Great news!

This resolution should have been passed ages ago, it’s a shame we have to deal with it now and balance it with our wartime relations with Turkey.

Shame on those dozen or so FReepers who gave aid and comfort to the Democrat enemy during this fiasco.

Do we have a case where the Armenian Diaspora is more interested in Armenia than their "host" country's national interest? The Armenian Diaspora is of course just one of many.

If so the Armenian Diaspora can only rejoice at a U.S. - Turkey split.

I was alerted to this problem by Professor Huntington's book, Who Are We? Tufts University professor Tony Smith was just one of several referenced by Dr. Huntington.

Smith says that his research [on home country diaspora in the U.S.] yielded three primary conclusions: First, he concluded that ethnic influence is real, especially in the Democratic Party, which made a self-conscious effort to portray itself as multiethnic. Second, he argued that this influence is profoundly negative, and has led to incoherence and hypocrisy in U.S. foreign policy , , , ,

As the Armenian Diaspora and Armenia enter the most critical phase, litigation against Turkey, the problems for America can only grow worse given the Armenians' political connections especially to our Democrat Congress.

How will the Armenian National Committee of America take this new development?

Their web site has demands to pass the resolution. Nothing yet about this new development

(Don't anybody get their bowels in an uproar and start screaming, "Denier." No one is denying the Armenian genocide.)

See, what the Dhimmis didn’t grasp is that the Greek word for genocide (which is Latin: gens (clan, people, nation) + cide (murder) is

DEMOCIDE (demos + cide, well, cide is still Latin, I guess, so it’s half Greek/half Latin)

So the Dhimmirats Genocide Bill turns out to have been Democide! You’ve got to respect a bunch of politicians who can make fools of themselves in two (one and a half) languages all at once.
