Facts:
The climate is changing.
There will be less drinking water
There will be more human migration and enviromental refugees.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been established by WMO and UNEP to assess scientific, technical and socio- economic information relevant for the understanding of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.

By raising awarenes and making us all more prepared they have prevented and decreased future conflict.
This is all a part of a message that peace, the one thing we all want, requires work in every field.
One might not like that it was also awarded to Al Gore but no *sane* individual can deny the facts presented by the IPCC.

I hope and expect that the global community at the very least are able to see that peace is achived in many different ways and that awareness over possible future conflict is certainly one way to achive peace.

There will be less drinking water

Warming causes higher humidity and more rain, so how will there be less drinking water?

Facts: The climate is changing.

The climate is always changing. It is not static. There is no way man can attach a thermostat to the planet and dial up any temperature he wants.

There will be less drinking water.

Do you have a factual basis for that statement? And have you ever heard of desalinization plants like those in Israel and Saudi Arabia?

There will be more human migration and enviromental refugees

There always have been such "refugees." Today, we are witnessing one of the greatest mass migrations in history, i.e., from Latin America to the US. These are economic refugees who are and will be far more numerous than any "environmental" refugee.

One might not like that it was also awarded to Al Gore but no *sane* individual can deny the facts presented by the IPCC.

Sorry, there are tens of thousands of scientists who disagree with these politically-biased findings. One of these is RICHARD S. LINDZEN, the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT.

I hope and expect that the global community at the very least are able to see that peace is achived [sic] in many different ways and that awareness over possible future conflict is certainly one way to achive [sic] peace.

The "global community" is a pipe dream. Nation states are still the prime actors and they will do what they perceive to be in their best interests. If you believe that China will go "green," stop being the biggest polluter, and sacrifice its economic progress in pursuit of some dubious actions that will have little to no impact on climate change, you are very naive.

Adaptations are not part of the agenda; the desired goal is to reverse the observed trend through forced sacrifice by taxing the very source of energy needed to accomodate migration and growth.

Migration now due to the great desire globally of those who want to enjoy and share the current wealth that exists in western societies and the indutrialized east is providing both the demand for fuel for the coming territorial wars and the cannon fodder to feed this insatiable beast.

This will not lead to peace.

If global warming was such an immment threat to the Earth, they wouldn’t have given passes to China and India. When a substance is found to be toxic, perhaps lead pipes, they don’t let recommend for people to keep using it in developing countries.

Global warming is a redistribution of wealth scheme.

The authors of this study say that the necessary costs to reverse GW would lead to “catastrophe and war”.
