We all know that this act is there,but never used to to a lack of courage to use it.
John Kerry should have been arrested under this act,back when he went to France and spoke to the Viet Cong,and ofcourse now nancy Pelosi should be charged with it.
However we all know the furor that would result.
There should be some type of sedition law that would arrest House of Representatives for trying to take by force of votes, the powers given to the President. Pelosi Reid, Murtha and half the Congress are trying to rewrite the separation of powers.

I remember reading that during the 1984 presidential race, Ronald Reagan suggested that a trip Jesse Jackson had taken to Cuba could be legally actionable, citing the Logan Act.Apparently nothing came of it.
Apparently the Logan Act has never been tested in court.Unless and until it is, it's power is unknown.
I say now is a good time to put it to the test! Make it another first for Pelosi, she seems to enjoy those.

people can say anything they want even up to encouraging the enemy Meeting with enemy foreign governments, without the authority of the United States, is more than throwing a few words around.
This nonsense needs to be stopped! We may not be able to prosecute acts of treason from the past, but we dam_ sure can prosecute the current ones effectively ending future acts.
