"According to congressional rules, congressmen and senators are allowed to have a gun on federal property."
Interesting about the double standard.

The Irony, is the guy was carrying the Gun for Webb who is allowed to have a gun in his possession on Government property, but would probably vote against the Residents of D.C. having a gun in their own home.
To: Uncledave
But I thought Democrats don't "do" guns!
I'm shocked, I tell ya! Shocked!
This'll put Democrat leadership in quite a pickle I think.

Putting a loaded gun in the hands of a hothead like Webb might not be such a good idea.
The meter maid better not get caught giving him a ticket...
To: Uncledave
Webb is a deeply bizarre man, capable of anything. He is a real Sicko.
To: AmericanMade1776
I guess Webb will have to go on the record of being pro-gun and 2nd Amendment or the NRA will crucify him for this.

Isn't possession of any firearm illegal in Washington DC?

In DC, you probably do register ammunition. Afterall, there is no one there with balls who will challenge it.
