Seems kinda inconsistent, doesn't it? How did they determine which one of the five counts should be NOT GUILTY? By playing a game of Plinko?

Anything but the $10,000 slot in the center is GUILTY!

Lugsoul has been the big cheerleader for Fitz throughout the trial.

lugsoul is a liberal who really doesn't belong here.

We must do something to end judicial tyranny. Of course they jury-shopped for ages to find a "suitable" (Bush-hating) jury.

I'm waiting to hear the WH response, and then I'm turning off the TV. I refuse to listen to garbage like that the rest of the day.

Will not happen. I've supported Pres. Bush from day one, but he is NOT going to be controversial and pardon someone after promising his "full cooperation" with the investigation. This is very, very bad news. It's been a pretty sucky month, what with the Dow falling 500, Coulter blabbing, and this.

This is a political conviction obtained by a DEMOCRAT prosecutor hell-bent on damaging the Bush White House, and a prejudiced jury not collectively bright enough to comprehend the nuances of the statute(s) under which the case was brought.

How does this help Wilson? Libby was never charged with outing Plame, nobody was. Isn't that what the Wilson suit is about?

It has no bearing on Wilson's civil case, but the media will certainly spin this as "justice" for his wife's "outing", regardless of anything resembling a fact.

I bet she'll be consulted on the appeal.

Toensing: sentencing ~ guidelines are no longer cement lines, so because of recent SS decisions.

Usually a sentence like this could be would be done concurrently .. you're not going to add them on top of each other.

Probability .. a year, 10 months
(if there is jail time)

I don't know how I'll be able to stomach Fitz's presser ..
this is too sickening for words.

Harry WeaslyReid: I welcome the verdict

Justice in America is dead. The liberal courts killed it a long, long time ago.

Liberals are of a different mindset, they lack ethics and just simply have lower standards if any standards at all. It's always about emotions. Just like the OJ case, this case is no different. I think we all knew. The president needs to pardon Libby and put this thing to rest. What a disgrace.

Martha Stewart was found guilty of obstructing justice when there was no crime, also

That is wrong. Sam Waxell (Imclone CEO) was convicted and sent to jail for insider trading and I think the stock broker also went to jail. Martha herself did not commit insider trading since she was not an insider.

Martha by witholding information was like an accessory, something like receiving stolen goods and covering that up.
