Dear FReepers, I need your prayers tonight. My 14 year old son was killed in a traffic accident today. Please pray for us.
I am so sorry to hear this.
May your family be comforted by all those who have you in their prayers.
My sympathies.

I registered here because I wanted to say I am sorry for you. I am really a progressive at DU and we were informed of your tragedy and wanted to express our sincere condolenses.
I know we do not see eye to eye on issues but, we are all parents here and I have kids. they are grown up now. I feel so awful for you and just had to express my sincerely and heartfelt wishes for you and your family to find some healing in this christmas.
It's an awful thing to loose a child but, so close to christmas is twice as hard. but, he is now safe and warm in the arms of God .
I hope you know that even though I have liberal views, I feel so much for you and your family's pain and sorrow. Please accept my condolences.
You're a class act, vwcat!
I am so sorry for your loss Dianna...my prayers are with you and your family during this painful time.
You're very sweet.... :) I know your kind words mean so much to Dianna. She and her family need all the support they can get right now.
Cyborg and I will pray for you. Give your pain and sadness over to the Lord, for He will abide.
My prayers tonight will be for you and your family.
I popped back over to see if my expressions were okay and not seen as intruding.
I can tell you so many people have commented in the Democratic Underground expressing thier sadness for Dianna. They all feel so sad and hope the best for her and her family.
We can disagree but, we are people and neighbors and when one of us has a tragedy, it's just time to put silly things aside and band together.
The blog community as a whole are one today and give our support to dianna
I'm late to this thread but you have my prayers and deepest sympathies.
That's so true. Thank you!
Deep in the night, a prayer for you. Out here in the darkness, a light burns and we are on our knees to God in prayer that you may feel the Arms of God about you - the same Arms that now cradle your son...
You are not alone.
So sorry to hear this :-( My deepest condolences to you and the family. You will be in my prayers.
To all of you sending out your prayers. As a family member I just had to sign in to say "THANK YOU". My cousin has told me about her going on this for years now. I take comfort that she has so many people that will help her get through this time.All your postings have been of great comfort to the whole family. Some have touched each of us in different ways. Not all of us could be with Dianna in person this week so this is how I have been keeping sane. I know they have been scanning this too. Tonight the family felt trully blessed when they saw the most beautiful rainbow any of them had ever seen. It was the sign they needed it was your prayers answered.
God Bless you all,
S
More Prayers going up for you and your family.

I wish there was something I could do for you. I have been to the dark place you and your family are sitting. I lost my 22 yo son in an auto accident 11/10/98. When you are able you might try to visit GROWW web site where you will find much love and online support. Sweetheart, although time will not heal this wound the raw edges may soften a bit.
Prayers to you and your family from Durham, NC
All mankind is of one author,
and is one volume;
when one man dies,
one chapter is not torn out of the book,
but translated into a better language;
and every chapter must be so translated;
God employs several translators;
some pieces are translated by age,
some by sickness,
some by war,
some by justice;
but God's hand is in every translation,
and his hand shall bind up
all our scattered leaves again
for that library where
every book shall lie open to one another.
Heartfelt prayers up.
(((((Dianna))))), I am so sorry.
Please accept my sincere condolences. Prayers offered for you and your family.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray God touches you and provides strength and comfort to you and your family.
