FRiends, sorry for the Vanity but at this late stage I have little else.
Today's election will impact upon far more than the good people of the United States.
For starters, a 'Rat majority in the Senate will all but destroy any chance of appointing justices to SCOTUS who will overturn Roe v.Wade. That will be a death sentence to millions more American babies. It will also send a message to the rest of the world that the people of the greatest power on earth still regard wholesale slaughter of innocent children as just fine with them. The wave effect will responsible for the deaths of untold millions more babies across the planet.
As we all know, WE are at war. OUR enemy is one committed to the destruction of our way of life and, if needs be, each and everyone of US. It is imperative that the United States continues to show leadership in the War on Terror. It will be catastrophic if it does not.
Does anyone really think a 'Rat majority in either the House or Senate is going to make the job of defending freedom easier? Can anyone seriously suggest that putting Nancy Pelosi just two heartbeats away from the Presidency will increase our chances of victory? Is it possible that some may contemplate that things will be better with John F'n Kerry, Chucky Schumer, Hitlery, Lard Ass and friends in control of the Senate? Does anyone consider bin Laden and the international enemies of freedom will not benefit from such a horror scenario???
In the name of all things decent, THIS IS SERIOUS!!!
OUR future is on the line RIGHT NOW. TODAY!
This is no time for a dummy spit! This is no time to "pay back" the perceived failures of the President or the GOP. This is certainly no time for fits of petulance that will only bring comfort to America's external and internal enemies.
This is a time to put the interests of the United States of America and the Free World first.
Folks, I don't have a vote today. I wish I did. I particularly wish I was voting in Massachusetts...or maybe Tennessee...or perhaps voting to send Rick Santorum back to DC. Whatever. I still don't have a vote. You do.
I pray you will GET OUT & USE IT. The future of us all depends on it.
The world cannot afford a 'Rat Congress.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE VOTE!
An hour and a half until I get to vote (7 am EST). What fun!!!
VOTE EARLY, VOTE OFTEN, VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!
Thanks for posting that!
It's really got me knotted up here. I feel like this is a truly crucial point in deciding whether America will continue to be a force for good in the world. I take it that seriously and I think many others do too.
I`m going to definately vote, but here in New York, the liberal armpit of the east coast that thinks Hillary is God, it`s all but useless.
The next 24 hours will tell exactly how many...
Well said, my friend!
After the bonzer nose-bashing you blokes gave the media with your vote of confidence in John Howard, the least we can do is return the favor!
Good job, Aussie Dasher!
Consider it done.
ok...
I voted absentee weeks ago. You are definitely right about the far-reaching implications of this election! I am as excited and anxious about this election as 2000 and 2004, because of what it means to the U.S. and the entire world.
Gotta go to work but will vote just as soon as I get out ...
Regards, Ivan
By all that you hold dear... on this good earth... I bid you stand! Men of the West!
I'm working night shift...i will vote this evening before i go back in..
a side note...i guy told me a while back to not vote straight republican ticket...just vote on candidates that i know something about....which will most likely all be republican...but he said you don't want to give a mandate to someone you don't know anything about...kinda makes sense....btw i believe 2004 was my last straight ticket vote....just my 2 cents.
I thanked him for the reminder, told him that I've not missed an election since I was legal in 1974 to vote, thanked him for his volunteerism.
And informed him that I do not vote for democrats, and suggested he come on over and join me on the winning side.
The next sound I heard was a click, followed by a dialtone.
Everyone - get out and vote or we'll get more of this:
In our brave new schools, Johnny can't say the pledge, but he can recite the Quran. Yup, the same court that found the phrase "under God" unconstitutional now endorses Islamic catechism in public school.
A Clinton appointed judge ruled in California's 9th Circuit Court that it's okay for kids to be forced to recite aloud Muslim prayers that begin with "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful . . . ."
Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."
Chanting "Praise be to Allah" in response to teacher prompts.
Professing as "true" the Muslim belief that "The Holy Quran is God's word."
Giving up candy and TV to demonstrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.
Designing prayer rugs, taking an Arabic name and essentially "becoming a Muslim" for two full weeks.
Parents of seventh-graders, who after 9-11 were taught the pro-Islamic lessons as part of California's world history curriculum, sued under the First Amendment ban on religious establishment. They argued, reasonably, that the government was promoting Islam.
But a federal judge appointed by President Clinton told them in so many words to get over it, that the state was merely teaching kids about another "culture."
