Exactly. Critics of any efforts to really stop the flow of illegals claim that we "cannot possibly" deport 11 million of them. Just can't do it.

Let's flip this around. Let me propose a business, a big business opportunity that could make lots of money for everyone, but that would require I hire 11 million Mexicans.

At the very least, people in the MSM would reply that it is impossible to bring that many people into the country as workers- there are not enough buses, nor places to house them, let alone the social services to take care of the ones who "fall through the cracks". Our schools are overburdened enough as it is!!

We cannot possibly allow you to bring in that many workers!!

Yet, we cannot possibly consider unwinding that many illegals from their current, semi-secure, positions "in the shadows" of the US economy! There are not enough buses to deport them.

IMO: these illegals came here one by one, two by two, in groups of six, ten and twenty, over the last two dozen years. Clamp down on employers and most will leave as they came.

There are enough Econoline Vans with blacked-out windows to bring 11 million illegals into the US. There are enough vans to help them return.

400,000 workers in South Carolina are using the SSN of 999-99-9999.

The IRS spends millions trying to squeeze some money from people they think are evading taxes by using PayPal via offshore accounts.

The IRS will not investigate this massive SSN-tax fraud, nor the illegal alien employment situation.

Here's something interesting I received on a Yahoogroup that I'm a member of:

As a business owner and employer I can tell you first hand why we have an illegal alien problem.

Finding reliable, honest employees with a good attitude and reasonable mechanical aptitude is becoming more difficult every day. Many employers, out of desperation, are turning away from the traditional employment pool to the illegal alien pool.

Let's take the real life example of two different businesses right next to each other in my business park (one is mine):

Since the nature of my business requires that my employees interact with customers and because our customers require us to do Background Checks, I can't hire illegals. The shop next door can.

I envy the shop owner next door. His employees are more reliable, more honest, hard working, and have good attitudes. Further more he spends no time fighting phony unemployment claims and phony Workmans Compensation claims. His employees have better mechanical aptitudes as well.

The question is why?

Let's take two employees, one from each shop. Actually to make it easy, each will be a composite of their respective pool:

Juan comes from Mexico where if he wanted to keep a bicycle under him he had to fix it himself. Actually he had to assemble a bike from various components from broken bicycles. His Dad had scrounged up. And he didn't just want a bicycle, he needed one to do odd jobs and help support his family as he had done since the age of six.

Tyrone never developed any mechanical skills. His Mom raised him. She was a single Mom (by choice). Being a single Mom opens the door for all types of social services in this country. So, Tyrone didn't have to have any work ethic. He and his family were supported by the government. But even if Tyrone wanted to work (which he didn't) child labor laws would have prevented it. Tyrone's Mom bought him new bicycles and new tennis shoes regularly.

Juan's Dad had an old clunker of a car. Juan helped his Dad work on it all the time. He honed his mechanical skills a little further doing this. Juan's Dad preferred automobiles with a clutch over automatic transmissions. Automatics don't last as long and are expensive to fix. Cars with clutches can be repaired by back yard mechanics. Juan could drive a clutch at age eight.

Tyrone's Mom always had cars with an automatic transmission. Tyrone never learned to drive a clutch.

Juan and his Dad changed brakes and did all the general maintenance on the family car.

Tyrone's Mom took the car to the shop.

Juan had little free time to get in trouble or hang out as he was always working.

Tyrone had lots of free time and was indoctrinated by street toughs with jail house attitudes. In fact in Tyrone's neighborhood it is considered a sign of weakness to smile or say hello when passing someone on the street. This is reflected in his attitude at work. He angers easily and finds everything an insult. I suspect being raised in a female environment has him over compensating for his lack of manly skills.

Unlike Juan who earns respect, Tyrone demands it. It doesn't work that way.

Juan is willing to start at the bottom and work his way up. Tyrone wants to start at the top. He thinks someone owes him ( thanks to Liberal indoctrination no doubt).

Tyrone has a chip on his shoulder. Especially when it comes to guys like Juan. Juan can work circles around Tyrone and surpasses him in every way.

Now, who is to blame? I blame our politicians who have created dependency. They have violated the Constitution and Bill of Rights over and over again by using the treasury to buy votes. They buy votes by handing out every social program one can think of. They buy votes with labor laws to protect unions. They have created a dependent labor pool with no work ethic and no job skills. They force employers to be their tax collectors (with holding). They force employers to become insurance agents (Workmans Compensation, Social Security). They force employers to be social workers and social engineers (quotas, drug counseling, ). They even force employers to be their propagandists, with heavy fines for not having Labor Law posters displayed as they dictate.

Of course the politicians conveniently shift the blame for illegal alien problems, labor problems and social problems to the opposing political party and the news media, like Don King, promotes the fight to its monetary advantage.

No one seems to see the root cause of all of our problems: VIOLATING OUR CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS!

Three steps to solving the illegals mess, it seems, is to simply get rid of most welfare, alter the child labor laws w.r.t. jobs that aren't physically taxing, and reinstate the work ethic in our children. However, that will take a while, but will be worth it.

The INS rank and file would love to do their jobs.

El Presidente is where the buck stops on INS priorities.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: NO Border, NO Order, NO Nation

> Taxes: Mass immigration costs taxpayers some $87 billion each year. Giving amnesty would nearly triple the already massive federal deficit.

> Schools: Taxpayers fork over some $7 billion each year so illegal alien students can attend public schools.

> Social Security: New proposals to pay retirement benefits to Mexican citizens who worked illegally in the U.S. could cost the cash-strapped Social
Security system as much as $345 billion - money that SHOULD be used to pay the benefits WE have been promised.

> Language Barriers: According to one economist, poor English skills among foreign-born residents cost more than $75 billion a year in lost
productivity, wages, tax revenue and unemployment compensation.

> The Job Market: An estimated 1.8 million American workers are displaced from their jobs every year by mass immigration. Because mass
immigration drives down wages, U.S. workers lose an estimated $133 billion a year as a result of open borders.

> Health Care: Mass immigration costs Medicare and Medicaid a whopping $20 billion each year, while federally mandated health care for illegal aliens
cost U.S. taxpayers as much as $2 billion annually.

> Welfare: Mass immigration is producing a subculture of government dependents that are nearly twice as likely to be on welfare. Benefits for recent
immigrants cost taxpayers an estimated $75 billion each year.

> $ Exported: Mexicans living & working in U.S., sent $12.4 billion to their homeland in the first 9 months of 2004, according to the Bank of Mexico.

> Net Cost: Between 1997 & 2006, the projected total net cost to taxpayers for immigration will be $866 billion.

> Influx: Immigration from 1925-1965 averaged 178,000 per year. As of 2003, we’re taking in approximately 1.1 million legal immigrants & up to 700,000
illegal aliens annually. In 2004, the Border Patrol estimates that 3 million illegal aliens entered the U.S.

> Population: Currently, we have 294 million people, but because of today’s mass immigration, 420 million is projected by 2050.

> Crime: The cost of locking up illegal aliens in CA alone is $1.4 billion a year. These are hard core criminal convicted of gang-related crimes, murder,
robbery, drug-trafficking and sex offenses. These undesirable criminal aliens blend in with illegal day laborers and others violating our borders.
