Pope John Paul II upon his imminent death, explained the value, the very reason, of dying and suffering.
It is so that we can understand what the Son of God went through for our sins.
Knowing that Terri was denied even a simple moistening of her lips, a standard medical procedure, I have no doubt that indeed she is very close to Him.
I pray I should be anywhere near that close to Jesus, as she must surely be for her suffering.
