I doubt we'll ever know the truth behind the language he chose for the "flying saucer" news release.

At least, they want us to BELIEVE he died... I was thinking along those lines myself.
He was only 83 years old.
I wonder what really happened to him? - tom

You are a moron. It only seems that way, until you consider the Einsteinian implications involved in FTL travel, and how that might cause fluctuations in the time continuum, resulting in the suicide of Hitler two years before the big Roswell coverup. In fact, Forrestal's suicide was probably due to the crushing foreknowledge that a large aircraft carrier would one day be named for him. The strain of knowing his own fate snapped his sanity.
What's your excuse?

James Forrestal, Sec of Defense committed suicide shortly thereafter. Go back and read the history of this period then come back and laugh. Try not to be so ignorant.Silly me, I always thought his conflict with the Air Force led to his mental breakdown and suicide. Glad to know that little green men were responsible.

I think there is two significant stories to this Roswell Crash Story:
1) What Jesse Marcel said.
2) The decoding of that paper held in General Roger Ramey's hand during the news conference with that kite.

You got it. I'm not laughing either. This is similar to the "Big Foot" article the other day. It reminds me of the saying that we mock what we do not understand.

3) Jesse Marcel Jr. MD, has been on some of the uo TV shows and said he saw and held the small purple-ish beam like object with the hieroglyphics on it that his Father had.

1) What Jesse Marcel said.
2) The decoding of that paper held in General Roger Ramey's hand during the news conference with that kite. Two points that register with me. 1)If Haut and Marcel were so incompetent in what they did, why were they not sanctioned in some manner for their incompetence? 2)Why has no one explained the telex or telegram held by General Ramey?
Not to say that this proves the existence of a "flying saucer", but some explanation better than what has been given would seem to apply!!
