4pm EDT and no typewritten memo yet.

Maybe I should put on my jammies and moose slippers.

Can't they see how inept they look with all of the delays? A group of folks who are confident in their work don't delay a scheduled info drop of this importance for FIVE HOURS, if they aren't scrambling like headless chickens!

Chris is a Wallace, an acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.
Chris isn't going to say ANYTHING, which reflects badly on his
father or his father's employer, besides that, he is trying to sell his book and it affects sales if it appears he is politically bias, one way or the other.

I think they are waiting for the exact moment the hurricane hits land, viewers will be watching THAT.

I wouldn't expect him to say anything new, he'll probably say that CBS, being a highly principled news outlet, will not and CAN NOT, disclose their sources or even indicate what AREA, the source is. His legacy depends it and he'll fight to the death to defend it, even if he has to take down the entire network with him.

First it was fear of Rush ... now they don't want Hannity to have enough time to chew on it.

Well if not Hannity...then they have Mark Levine, if not Mark...Laura Ingraham, etc. And tomorrow it starts ALL over again. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Before the advent of the internet and the rise of FReeperdom, how many other frauds have been perpetrated on the American people by the communists at CBS and their fellow travelers in the press corps?

Search on Tet 1968. And it didn't start then either.

Does anyone know if a source gives you bad information whether a reporter is still obligated to maintain the source's confidentiality?

We just lost cable....but hey, maybe CBS will postpone again.

The pundits I've heard on TV say there is no obligation to protect a source if they've given you bogus info.

Does anyone know if a source gives you bad information whether a reporter is still obligated to maintain the source's confidentiality? Nothing in the law or the Constitution requires, or even allows, them to protect their sources in the face of crimal or civil court actions. They like to pretend the first amendment freedom of the press allows this, and some judges go along. However the first amendment protects freedom of the press that is the freedom to publish whatever you want, but I for one don't see where it protects liars and frauds from the consequences of their actions. It also provides no protection for those who would protect liars and frauds.

It's now twenty after five EDT, where's the statement? I figure that if they haven't come out with one by the end of the evening news, they aren't ever going to come out with one. They'll just stonewall.

Are those morons at CBS still hoping this is going to blow over? FNC hasn't had anything about it lately, I'm going to keep watching though to see if anything breaks.
