The French have delivered one of three nuke subs to Pakistan. One is operational. #2 just passed the deep water dive test. All the Paki nuke weapons are missile warheads. The vast majority of radical Islamics in Pakistan would like to annhilate the U.S. They have the tools to do so.

The Chinese are going to get Taiwan soon. I predict a massive cruise missile attack with neutron weapons aboard. No need for a massive deployment of troops. Lots of dead bodies. They will wait until the jihadis whack a few of our cities with nukes. That will be sufficient distraction of our resources.

You deserve a gold star!

Yep, China's military buildup is funded almost entirely by American companies that have closed factories here at home, and reopened in China.

The military buildup is just half the threat. China is now the single largest holder of paper behind the federal deficits of the last three years. Politicians liken it to the 1980's when Japan held most of the paper behind those deficits. The one difference, Japan was an ally.

China is now in a position to wreck havoc on our economy if we tried to bring our factories back home.

Hrmm I was about to type out a post on our country's intelligence in China. I suppose I can do it later.

In the meantime I will crosspost this from another thread as it seems relevant.

Something big [and bad] is coming, says CIA director

---------------------------------------------------------

This is really beginning to be pathetic.

The unfortunate truth is that the United States never has an "specific intelligence".

America fails horribly at low-tech espionage and has to rely on foreigners and foreign governments to supply us with much needed intelligence information.

Our main source of intelligence in this respect are foreigners who studied in the United States and then returned to their native country.

The general idea here is that they obviously must have "loved" America and therefore will naturally share the same geopolitical goals and objectives that we as a nation have. This is where we make the mistake. In many cases they don't share the same goals that we have because at the end of the day...they are not American and don't wish to be. To further complicate matters their "foreign education" makes them suspect when they return to their native country. And so to demonstrate their devotion, faithfulness and patriotism they end up taking a stand against America.

If we end up with anyone on the payroll overseas, they are almost always foreigners and in many cases end up working as "double agents" who have an intimate knowledge of our country. If not that, we have some fresh college graduate with a 3.8 GPA from some somebigivyleagueuniversity hit the ground in Bangkok, Hong Kong or Prague with his testosterone in overdrive and armed with his Lonely Planet guidebook.

Its all politically correct and stuff but its simply not secure and one day we are going to have to face up to that painful reality.

They are ALL guilty.

We have lost OUR manufacuring capability to one of our worst enemies who sells back to us what we ourselves could and should produce and this is the fruit of the their profit - not a better human rights record.

One of Bush I's biggest mistakes was "business as usual with the butchers of Tienemen Square"

"The French have delivered one of three nuke subs to Pakistan."

Shows what knowledge in the hands of the French can accomplish.

This is their greatest achievement since granting the Ayatollah Kominei resident status there.

"During Klinton's admin"

Clinton has been out of office for three years, so you can stop blaming him for everything. The Washingtom Times is a great News Paper and Bull Gertz is a fine reporter. You should educate your self just a little, before bad mouthing fine a institution like the WT and fine man like Bill Gertz.

We are toast,

"It is simply appalling that the United States cannot get its act together to organize the production of eight new submarines for Taiwan," Mr. Fisher said.

We don't have the ablity to build cheap non-nuke subs, our new fighter planes will cost $800 million per plane. We have (tanks free traitors) given away our manurfactoring base, so now we can't build squat without it costing a freaqing fortune. The Chicoms are going to eat our lunch. Thanks again free traitors.

Clinton did enough to damage our military, but it's now time to include Bush in this as well. It's been 3+ years, so what is he waiting for?

agreed, Clinton sold out the country and was a traitor, he should be in jail. But you can't blame him for everything, Bush is president now and it is his watch and he appears no better then Clinton with reguard to the Chicoms.

> "China has decided submarines are its first-line warships now, their best shot at beating carriers," said Sid Trevethan, an Alaska-based specialist on the Chinese military. "And China is right."

Some day something will
sink a US carrier.
I'd bet blue whale bucks

it will not be a
non-nuclear Chinese sub.
I just don't see it.
