How about...

Should the US send more troops to Iraq if the military asks for them?

There may be a thread of truth to the poll.

If it gets much worse, we may have to change tactics, and..

We wouldn't want a whole buch of our troops there during a wall to wall carpet bombing.

If used properly, the number of troops already there are more than enough to handle it.

And this is even an issue worth contemplating?

One really wonders at times what the average I.Q. of the American public is these days if the majority vote is a nay.

Could you please say in the title "web poll."

For a second there I thought all my hair would turn gray.

It's an online poll but....if the Iraqis are not willing to fight for their own democracy the cause is lost.

Americans should have learned during Vietnam to let their military men decide how to fight. They probably understand that better than we realize.

This poll and similiar ones showing declining support for Bush's management of the war seem to ignore the fact that a lot of us think it's time to make more use of heavier weapons and more aggressive tactics.

Killing Yassin seems to have thrown Hamas into chaos. After all the dire threats the only thing they have been able to throw at Israel is a couple of suicide kids, one of whom was mentally retarded.

Why Sadr is still alive and even able to move around between towns is certainly a mystery to me. Every time I see a picture of him he's surrounded by a group of creeps who would make an excellent target for a cruise missile or any of a number of other weapons.

....if the Iraqis are not willing to fight for their own democracy the cause is lost.

But they are!

That is the reason for the June 30th dead line.

They will, however at this time are not prepared to.

I see it as the same as if I let my Husky (Silver) go on his own, he couldn't survive without the proper easing into self sufficiency after depending on me for most of his life.

They have. That is refreshing!

However, the die hard Liberals disagree, this is why Dubya will be the next POTUS!

But they are!

I honest to God wish that were so but it appears that there are NO Iraqis in the front lines. I don't just mean the "defense" forces I mean the people themselves. Hell I would settle for a few pro-coalition demonstrations. Anything to show that this is not a wasted effort.

I say "no", too.
Either bomb the stinking "insurgents" into oblivion, or hang back and keep a real low profile until June 30th. But sending more troops over there to continue playing patty-cake with these sick ingrates would be ridiculous.

The crux of the whole problem. I'll hold out on my vote until I see more evidence of the Iraqi's willing to fight. Maybe they deserved Saddam. Jury's still out, IMO.
