Congressional Democrats are taking heat from Republicans for rejecting a massive stimulus package twice amid a national emergency caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The bill would’ve provided nearly $2 trillion in financial aid from the federal government to prop up the struggling economy but Senate Republicans failed to get the required 60 votes to approve the package.

I heard that these were added in the last hour.
1 Trump and Pence must step down.
2 All oil production shut down in the US by midnight
3 Top tax rate 97 percent.
4 From now on Thursday will be Wednesday and vice versa
5 All boys must become girls and vice versa
6. The name of the country must be changed to Little China
BTW, I saw Ted Cruz on the Senate floor speaking about an hour ago. He is not self-quarantined.

A shut down economy is all the “Green Deal” the democrats could have ever hoped for.
Trump needs to go to American People and explain that he is trying to keep America from turning into an impoverished 3rd world nation where everyone is jobless, starving and homeless. Then he needs to compare that to what the democrats are interested in. Pushing their progressive agenda which has just the opposite effect. Then he needs to talk about the national deficit.
He should have no problems in painting the progressive agenda for what it is, and firing up a lot of the population against the democrats.

I’d be fine with the president declaring martial law and having the military arrest these bastards.
Looks like Trump, since the democrats prefer to completely destroy the country now, should go whole hog and declare martial law and do whatever he thinks is necessary. After all, the democrats are complaining that he is holding back the Federal government.
They have to get past this 60 vote requirement. I see a nuclear option in our future. The Dems give us no choice.

The Constitution expressly requires supermajority on some issues. So the drafters of the Constitution were OK with “fractional” votes on certain issues.
On the other hand, patriots need to question if the Senate’s constitutionally undefined 60 vote supermajority rule violates the Constitution’s Article I, Section 3, Clause 1, that clause expressly guaranteeing each senator one vote.
"Article I, Section 3, Clause 1: The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof, (See Note 3) for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote [emphasis added]."
