So what’s really going on? Earlier stories had state officials saying the recount window closed on Nov 21 and Stein had missed that deadline. Also a Stein attorney was quoted as saying he had filed a suit to have the election declared illegal, which is the only alternative left since the recount window had closed.

What I really want to know is whether or not Stein can force a recount in Pennsylvania with the help of a fanatical leftist judge. The “deadline has passed!” stories don’t answer that question.
During the original election eve counting, nobody knows what the result is, so people are mostly performing their civic duties and are counting the votes as best they can.
Once we get into recount territory, people know what the target is, and then the shenanigans begin. It's one thing to guess how many manufactured votes are needed on election night; it's quite another thing to know EXACTLY how many manufactured votes are needed for a recount.

There cannot be a recount going on. Stein was too late for that. She had to appeal to a court for a contested election. Has there been a court hearing? Did she even file. I don’t know what all this reference to a recount is but it is not legally permisible at this point. She could only CONTEST the election as ILLEGAL. Did she do that? On what basis?
Those filing affidavits better be airtight. Perjury carries jail time.
