[From September 5, 2016] Presidential Election to Be Determined by Just 17 Counties

The winner of the U.S. presidential election will be determined by about 17 swing counties, with a total of about 500,000 swing voters between them. The American public has heard that 12 swing states will determine who will be the next president. But a book, Presidential Swing States: Why Only Ten Matter, by Hamline University Professor David Schultz, who also edits the Journal of Public Affairs Education, predicts a very small number of America’s 3,142 counties and county equivalents will tip the balance.

In Ohio, it’s Hamilton County, home to Cincinnati; In Pennsylvania, the key counties are Bucks and Chester Counties, to the north and south of Philadelphia; along with Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties, straddling Scranton and Wilkes Barre in its western interior;

* In Florida, it’s Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, surrounding Tampa and St. Petersburg; * In Wisconsin, the keys are Brown County and Winnebago County near Green Bay; plus Racine * County to the south near Chicago suburbs; * In Iowa, it’s rural tiny Bremer County; * In New Hampshire, it’s inland Hillsborough Township, on the Massachusetts border; * In Nevada it is Clark County, home of Las Vegas; * In Virginia, it’s Prince William County, outside Washington D.C.; * In North Carolina, it’s Wake County, which encompasses Raleigh and Durham; and * In New Mexico, it’s Bernalillo County, along with Albuquerque and Dona Ana County near Las Cruces

Thanks for posting this. Very important, especially the electronic voting machine fraud, which IS the way they will try to rig the election. The poll workers in these 17 counties are extremely important this election and MUST do everything possible to ensure the actual TRUE vote is accurately represented on the results the tabulation machines spit out. This is going to determine wether we have free elections and a free country anymore or not.

I know they are not swing counties, but it just shows that our future is determined by a geographically small portion of our country. They determine tax policies, business environment, social policies, immigration, etc. for the entire rest of the country whether we like it or not. A lot of this comes from the agencies that follow the executive branch, not from our lawmakers.

If I recall correctly, something similar happened in the 2008 Minnesota Senate election which sent Al Franken to the Senate.

Franken was behind by about 700 votes on election night. But recounts proceeded, and the courts got involved. Eventually the Minnesota Supreme Court declared Al Franken won by about 325 votes.

In any recount situation, the Democrat gains votes. That’s why whoever said this was right — that if it’s not close, they can’t cheat. On the other hand, in a close election, they can find a bag of votes in a car trunk, get into hanging chads and ballots marked improperly, and declare that the mismarked ballot was really an intention to vote for the Democrat.

Have any Republicans ever gained votes in a razon thin election where it goes to a recount?

Even in the Gore/Bush thing in Florida, Al Gore gained over 1000 votes before the recounts were shut down.

You don’t have to go anywhere to check the voting machines in your state; you can do this online. Then an email sent to all the right people in your state asking them to change to paper balloting - you write the one email and all will get it. New Mexico uses both, but that doesn’t make us immune to this type of fraud. A person uses a paper ballot to vote with, and then slides it into a tabulator machine. The tabulator can be programmed to alter the votes and nobody will be the wiser unless the paper ballots are hand tabulated to compare with the results the machine gives. This is not likely because there will be no obvious reason to open the ‘vault’ containing the paper ballots to do a hand count. I need to find out if it is ok for poll workers to take the initiative and compare the results of the paper ballots to the machine results BEFORE sending the machine results to the Clerk’s office. If anybody has this info in New Mexico I’d be appreciative if you’d FReepmail me with such.

And yet the lawmakers could put a stop to this by withholding or reducing funding to rogue agencies, but they will not.

But we need to find out where all the Soros-type voting machines are and we need to be tallying the ballots separately as they are fed into the machines.

Then we need to see if there is any mismatch between the hand tally and the machine totals BEFORE the machine totals are transmitted.

If there is a mismatch, then the police must be called and the machines must be set aside. Once the totals are resolved, the results can be telephoned in by the election official at the voting station with witnesses on hand.
