There was a time when Hillary Clintons team believed she would win every swing state, many by double digits.
That time has passed.
According to todays Washington Post, the Clinton team is now pessimistic about holding Iowa and Ohio, and they believe Florida and North Carolina will be close. Right now, the latest polls have Donald Trump ahead in all four states. If he were to win those four states, as well as Nevada, he would be one state away from winning the presidency.
Here are the remaining battleground states and where they stand....

AMEN to the last sentence of this article!!!
GO.TRUMP/PENCE.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!
So will Ben Shapiro leave the country if Trump gets elected or will he realize for ONCE that Trump was the better choice
Trump carries, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania with very comfortable victory margins. This 2016 POTUS election gig is over. Trump wins the POTUS race by a massive landslide victory!!! HRC takes down a good portion of the Democrat Party with her devastaing loss to DJT!!! Obama has no legacy!!! End of story!!!
UPDATE: NM is close and CO is now red. After Hillary's
feeble response to the NY bombings look for NY to turn red.
2016 is a projected electoral votes map--
2014 is Congressional contest results.
Nice to see these NeverTrump pukes start to come to grips with reality.
I was in agreement until Pennsylvania. So much voter fraud in that state, maybe some of the worst in the country. Better shots at CO, NV, VA, MI, WI, ...
Florida & North Carolina will not be close!
I think he gets Colorado, Wisconsin, NH, flips MI and has the best shot at PA in years. NY is a pipe dream but would be oh so sweet
Quick! We need a mass shooting by a white guy named Pepe! Then we can blame everything on white nationalism and distract from our own ineptitude!
/deep in the bowels of the Clinton campaign.
Well some of them are turning around, but not Glenn Beck, but that guy has always been a few pickles short of a burger anyway
I’m sorry to say this article depressed me. We have to win Florida and Ohio, and then win one more state, all of which are difficult for the GOP. A lot of places to stumble (no pun intended). I see it as anti Hillary dems vs. anti Trump suburban women. Toss up.
I can’t let myself get too excited until we get through the debates. They will be throwing everything at him. It only took a few weeks for total reversal with Hillary.
I’m cautiously optimistic. I do know for sure that no other republican running would have it this close. They would get killed by the Clinton/Media machine.
It will be closer in Florida but definitely not in North Carolina.
Lots of places to slip up but lots of opportunities to push over 270. I want a complete repudiation of Hillary but I’ll take just a win.
Based on the way things are right now I’d expect a big popular vote win for Trump and a closer electoral vote. A big EV win isn’t out of the question
Too bad NM is such a liberal swamp. It sucks living here.
He’s probably still pining for the Cubanadian.
Look for Trump to "go home" sometime mid to late October.
Ditto Illinois. I would die laughing if Trump took Illinois.
There is much voter fraud in both PA and VA, worst in the country. It would be bad in MA too if there were a need.
