Pelosi says uneducated white men like Donald Trump because of ‘guns, gays and God.’ Is she right?

What Nancy Pelosi said isn't necessarily a new idea: the theory that white, working class men vote Republican because of social issues and -- from Democrats' perspective -- to the detriment of their economic interests.

But it is worth taking a closer look this year. Hillary Clinton is struggling mightily this campaign with white men, who, according to Washington Post-ABC News polling, are supporting Trump by higher margins than they did for Mitt Romney in 2012; 77 percent of them hold an unfavorable view of the Democratic nominee. And there's a possibility the presidential race will be played out in the Rust Belt and Midwest, where there is a higher concentration of white, working class men.

While we can't ask every white, non-college-educated man who they're voting for and why, we can get an idea of how strongly they feel about the three issues Pelosi pointed out. So let's do that.

Can she name a single thing the Ds have done for uneducated white men in the last 8 years? Not thing she says are in their best interests, but things they want. I won’t wait for an answer on that.

Meanwhile those voter can name many things the Ds have done against them. She can start with “guns, gays, and God” if she wants focus on those attacks. But even if they stop attacking voters on those things they need to work for voters on something if they want their votes. She’ll have to be happen with votes of socialists, the intentionally unemployed, cop killers, women who like abortions, and illegal immigrants since that’s who the Ds work FOR. (the many unintentionally unemployed want jobs, not free stuff).

I guess we dumb people who work for a living are just to stupid to understand things. I mean I must be dumb; I always thought that I got bonuses and raises when the company I work for makes larger profits. That can’t be true because policies that allow businesses to succeed are against my economic interests. Wow! I always thought a larger paycheck was in my best economic interest, but thanks Nancy for educating me that I’m really better off with less income so long as my employer makes smaller profits.

If it were true, which doesn't preclude that educated men like him too, it is likely that if they like him at a greater rate it is because they didn't attend as much government sponsored brainwashing at their institutes of higher “education”. They likely still have more of the common sense, on a whole, that they were born with.
