I am sorry that this has happened here.
Hate and insults beget hate and insults.
I’ve tried very hard not to make crude insults at other freepers but it’s hard when they go on every thread to make horrible accusations against anyone who is not for their glorious (and infallible) leader.
Hang in there.
If you lie, don’t be surprised at the consequences.
What has Trump done?
Talk and kick things around. I don’t like his ideas or what he’s kicking around.
What has Cruz done? Kept the promises he made when he ran for Senate. We at least have some idea ... some proof actually that he will keep the promises he makes.
I don’t believe that about Trump.
Disappointed that you would pile on ... he didn’t lie.

The problem I see is the fundamentally incorrect assumption that government should be involved in healthcare in any way. You can not fix Obamacare. You can not fix Medicare. Socialism can not be managed more efficiently.
No matter how well intentioned you are in creating a 'safety net' the administration that follows will turn it into a vote buying political third rail 'right' for everyone.
We have lost the argument when we accept the left's false premises.
God (and so should we) evaluates people on what they did with their resources.
We expect more out of Einstein brains than we do out of ditch digger brains.
He’s talked and kicked together an enviable lead. We look at how he has done in the Republican primaries, sometimes well, sometimes not so well. Nobody here seems to look at what he has done on the traditionally Democrat side... but that is the very key to a landslide, and the national consensus and mandate that goes along with it, that looks like Reagan’s.

He's offering more of the same socialism that has afflicted this country for more than a generation.
While the ONLY real solution is to return to the original intent of our founders and the absolute obligations of the sacred oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Liberty and limited government are the only fix for our national woes, not more unconstitutional socialism.

We can certainly say that the “milder” the socialism, the less harmful.
Some people want to walk right out of hell into permanent Shangri-La, but not even God does that kind of introduction. We have lots and lots of face-offs with the devil on the way to heaven.

The problem with the Little Red Hen story, although it was fun, is that Trump has never baked anything, although you might say that he’s half-baked.
He’s offering less of it than Obama or any Democrat is.
And I don’t see anything out of Ted but even vaguer premises than Trump’s propositions.
By being too absolutist, you end up with nothing, in this real, dynamic world of change either to hell or to heaven.
