This is a Wisconsin state poll.

Like so many other polls, however, it shows Cruz and Clinton tied, which is very good since Cruz has very low voter recognition. But TRUMP GETTING STOMPED TO TINY PIECES.

Look, folks, if you like Trump’s issue stances, fine, vote for him.

But for God’s sake, don’t delude yourself into picking a winner. He is the least like major candidate for president I’ve ever seen.

Such TRIPE ... it is a fricken University poll in Wisconsin ... just because Walker a Republican became governor do not get the impression that the state is Conservative ... Rather the students and many resident are liberal — even LEFTIST leaning Democrats.

A Republican poll in Wisconsin is a foolish endeavor...

You’d think DT’s supporters would give pause at being on the same pep squad as the gop-e and RATS.... doesn’t seem to phase them, though.

Neither I nor my wife nor both parents nor my sister or her husband nor my best friend will vote for Trump in a general.

All will vote for Cruz.

This poll interviewed 806 registered Wisconsin voters, by both landline and cell phone, January 21-24, 2016. The margin of error is +/- 4.0 percentage points for the full sample. For Republican presidential primary voters, the sample size is 313, with a margin of error of +/-6.5 percentage points. For Democratic presidential primary voters, the sample size is 312, with a margin of error of +/-6.5 percentage points. The partisan makeup of this sample, including those who lean to a party, is 42 percent Republican, 47 percent Democratic and 10 percent independent.

LOL! With internals like this, I could get a 100% "Overturn the Second Amendment" result.

Liars. LOL!

Reagan is the only Republican to have won WI since Nixon. That is, if a Republican wins there, it is part of a landslide.

So would you all by sitting home be effectively giving your vote to Hillary, or whomever?

Or, are you there hoping for Bloomy to jump in? (An unlikely path for a Cruz voter.)

Or, does petulance simply run in your family—which likely makes you all a bit more reactive to Trump’s personality?

As has been pointed out, this is Wisconsin state poll. Wisconsin is a leaning Dem swing state, usually about +3 to +5 Dem vs. the country at large.

There have been a lot of Republican candidates I did not like in the general election; specifically the last one Romney, but I voted for him. I did not sit at home on the sidelines and protest my not voting. I would prefer Cruz as the nominee, but if it is Trump or Rubio, or even Ron Paul I am voting for the Republican candidate!
