Donald Trump’s decision to skip the next debate marked yet another unexpected twist in his presidential campaign but probably a very smart political decision.
Trump’s conflict with Fox News started after Trump began bashing moderator Megyn Kelly, whose questions in the first GOP debate he said were unfair. But it quickly turned into the entire network mocking him.
When Trump polled his Twitter followers about whether he should participate, Fox News put out a news release mocking him:
“We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.â€
That jab was too much and Trump followed his own negotiating advice from The Art of the Deal and walked away from the table. After spending most of his campaign arguing that the world laughs at President Obama because he is a terrible negotiator, it was really Trump’s only move.

Instead of making more money for Fox News, Trump will spend the time on Thursday raising money for wounded warriors.

I believe his plan is to do a fundraiser for veterans which will “Trump” the ambush debate.Time will tell.
He is very emotionally suited. This is what happens to an executive. You have to be able to make the right choice every time. Trump knows how it’s done. He IS a LEADER!

I am hoping that he is engaging in a lower expectations then exceeding expectations type of ploy.
If he flat misses the debate, it’s going to be used against him until the end of time.

Not a very good poker player are you? Trump is holding a royal straight flush and Fox has a pair of deuces. Fox will fold and Trump wins the pot either way. He’ll go on the debate and Fox pays big money to the Vets and WW, or he says screw you and holds a fundraiser for them and Fox loses millions. Trump wins either way! Hahahahahahaha LOVE IT!

You show up no matter what they launch. No matter what. That’s what balls made out of battleship hulls looks like.
You show up and tell the muslim, you’re going back, you tell the illegal you are going back, and we are going to follow our laws, and we are going to build a wall to keep you out, and you are going to pay for that wall, and you tell the Megyn that she better ask legit questions, or she won’t be getting any answers.
And that’s it.
Now, there is really no point in arguing about it. I think what i think, and I am going to continue to think it.
