Oooo the Boston Globe trying to intercede and pick our candidates again.
Stick with your own Marxist party, there Globe
No greater praise you can receive than for a left wing Boston reporter to write that you are “deeply unlikable.”
The media always wrote great things about McCain, all the way up until he received the Republican nomination.
I think it is because more and more people are starting to realize that Trump has the best chance to win the working class white vote that still stubbornly clings to the democrat party despite that party’s continuously sh!tting on them. I saw a poll not long ago that said that Trump has the chance of winning as much as 20 percent of the white vote away from the dems. Cruz’s appeal is to a much narrower slice of the electorate.
The object of this election is to actually win, not make highfaluting statements, and do down in flames. That’s why we need a candidate who is willing to fight the dems, whether its Clinton, Sanders, Biden or Warren, using their own tactics, and unafraid of going into full-blown attack mode. I personally don’t think Cruz has it in him to do that.
There will be a lot of scorched earth collateral damage if Cruz is use as a nuclear option;

Coded named, Operation Count Chocula
Lemay’s appraisal of nukes was correct. But it’s un-PC, so it must be wrong.
I don't think we need worry about Trump's candidacy losing Michael Cohen as a potential future supporter of the conservative cause.
This liberal political hack is a fellow at The Century Foundation. He also served in the U.S. Department of State as chief speechwriter for U.S. Representative to the United Nations [that paragon of truthfulness] Bill Richardson and Undersecretary of State Stuart Eizenstat. He has worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and was chief speechwriter for Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT). He has also worked on political campaigns, both in the United States and overseas.
“...it seems that Republicans have come to the conclusion that Cruz — not Trump — is the equivalent to nuclear annihilation for the GOP.”
With Cruz voting along with the Republican establishment with TPA and the Corker bill, it would seem the Republican establishment is applying a bit of reverse psychology in their efforts to help their guy Cruz (since they can’t have their guy Jeb! or maybe Rubio).
Always good to hear what the BOSTON GLIB has to say. : )
“On the surface, it seems almost unimaginable that a sane political actor could prefer Trump over any other potential nominee. His winning the nomination would surely cripple the GOP with minority voters, widen the gender gap among women (which already favors Democrats), and make the party look ridiculous by nominating a figure so clearly unqualified to be president....”
They wish.
“Minorities” are of no importance. That’s the whole point of a nationalist, as opposed to a globalist, candidate.
And women? Shut the front door! Except for feminazis, Trump will be very popular with women.
Bump!
