MSNBC analyst Steve Kornacki says that since Iowa is locked in for Ted Cruz or Donald Trump, if an establishment Republican (like Christie, Bush, Kasich or Rubio) wants to win the Republican nomination, they absolutely must make a strong showing in New Hampshire.
"Right now there is divided opposition [among establishment Republicans]," Kornacki said. "And Donald Trump is the biggest beneficiary of that in New Hampshire."(continued)

where are all these big numbers they are looking for going to come from?
who is going to drop out and give his 2 percent to another establishment guy/gal?
carson’s voters wont.
I think you’re at 60 percent with just Cruz, Trump and Carson. Paul’s voters are weird but certainly not establishment.
Neither are huck’s.
can’t see them rustling up more than 25 percent.
What a genius idea. In order for Trump and Cruz to both lose NH, someone else has to win NH.
Wow. Who would have thunk?
Open primaries and just flat cheating or manipulation is the only way a Jeb, Rubio, Christie, or Kasich win the whole thing.
You have to pay a political consultant big bucks for analysis like that! ;-)

Donors will soon want to switch their funding to down-ticket Senate and House races to support people who will oppose Trump/Cruz efforts.
Unless the GOPe candidates soon show they can win, their funding will dry up and go to GOPe down-ticket candidates.
Exactly, and this is certainly not lost on the Establishment. NH's primary is a long ways away and a lot can happen in that time. I wonder how many frank discussions are going on in GOPe meeting rooms contemplating a strategy to rescue one of the Establishment's candidates.
Twitter birds like Guy Benson and Adrian Gray touting “surging” Christie whose “trend lines in NH” are good.
How can the anti-Second Amendment Christie be doing good in the state whose motto is “Live Free or Die?”
while I don’t underestimate Christie’s speaking skills, he wont Ever take Trump, Cruz or Carson’s votes. Probably not huck’s 3 or 4. percent not votes lol
I don’t see the votes.
But... But... But... Several Freeper Trumpettes have informed me that Cruz *is* establishment!
I didn’t say he was really coming on only that it’s what the GOPe Twitter birds are pushing because they have to stop Trump.
I know. but he is the Best speaker in the rino field.
Hi Mrs. Smith,
Can you elaborate?
My view has some similar characteristics as things realign...
Right. Not disagreeing with you...disagreeing with the Twitter birds.

Assuming Trump or Cruz perform WAY better than the rest in the early primaries- and it looks like they well may- what else are the RINO donors to do?
Continue throwing money away on hopeless RINO presidential candidates?
The smart thing would be to give up on them- even though it’s early- and desperately funnel the money towards people who will fight in the congress to oppose the changes Cruz/Trump want to make.
They’d be sure to get ‘bang for their buck’ that way.
MSM, RINO Party, Fox News, NY Times all pushing Christie Cream down our throats—him or Rubio. They must not win! The next demate will be the “Get Trump” Debate—done by FOX News. Megyn Kelly is set to dance on Trumps Grave with her high heels. He better be ready! They will be gunning for Cruz as well. This will be the LAST Debate before people start dropping out like flies—Huck,Carly, Jeb, Paul, etc... will drop out by March 2.
I realized more than ever how totally ignorant the talking heads are. Kirstin Powers, eg, basically regurgitates things that others have said in the hours and days before she speaks, she has no mind of her own, except when she talks about abortion, then she’s a conservative.
Steve Hayes, listened to him last night. I think the man has this thing, to say something negative about Trump at least once per night. He was ranting about Trump wanting to exclude Muslims and how that is divisive.
We are a country right now that is divided between those who are strong, and those who are weak. Trump is an Andy Jackson, Steve Hayes is the milk toast follower of people like Bush. In fact, who is Hayes for Rubio?
