Jeb Bush adviser just comes out and says it: Donald Trump looks like a fascist

#TeamJeb won't let The Donald walk this one back

Jeb Bush is not joining his fellow Republican, Donald Trump, in arms in the age-old tradition of conservative combat against biased media reporting, and instead, Jeb and his campaign team are piling on The Donald’s latest absurd suggestion that there should be a database to track and monitor Muslims in the U.S.

A bit of a mini-media controversy erupted Thursday afternoon when headlines blasted news of Trump suggesting the mandatory registration of Muslim Americans: “Trump won’t rule out database, special ID for Muslims in US.”

But, Mother Jones’ Kevin Drum quickly pointed out the flaw in the rush to report the latest Trump absurdity during a week of ugly xenophobic one-upmanship:

It would be one thing if Trump floated the idea himself of warrantless searches and special IDs. It’s quite another if a reporter brings them up and Trump tap dances a little bit. Needless to say, in a better world Trump would have explicitly denounced all these ideas. Obviously we don’t live in that world. Still, the only thing Trump actually said here is that we’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely. The rest was just a reporter fishing for a headline....

Jeb Bush has lost his mind and is trying to elect Donald Trump. That is the result of this stupid smear.-————>listening to Trump now. Even if Ted Cruz is my man, I have to admit Trump is kicking @$$.

Trump will take your property - the most basic right and principle of a free capitalist society. Fascist governments take property.

Trump loves eminent domain. If you like government cronyism now you will love it when Trump comes to office.

History is repeating itself. America is right where Germany and Italy were after WW1. Weak and leaderless. We know who they elected to save them. America doesn’t need a political savior. It needs Constitutional leadership. And the only one who understands that is Cruz.

picking on an italian? :)

Hr was going to build a new Roman Empire spanning as far as the eye could see, and taking over the countries around it.

Didn’t quite work out.

I would like to think I have Roman blood. Pop’s people are from Naples. Mom’s are from Sicily.

you must have seen my name around,.

I’m voting for Cruz if he’s competitive at the time.

If it’s Trump and a RINO i’m voting for Trump and taking my chances.

There’s been no groups formed consisting of people kicked out of their abodes by trump. Just that one old lady in AC.

The people probably got great prices for their dumps and moved on.

But I can see you concern.

I’m not thrilled with him saying he’s very militaristic. That DOES sound too much like fascist talk. I dont think he means it that way.

“How rude and dishonest.”

To say the least. A cautionary warning to “The GOP Establishment”. If it should be perceived that non-establishment candidates such as Trump, Carson, Cruz, we Conservatives just might stay home - again. I’m begging to think that it may be time to stop trying to effect change through the GOP and just get in with forming a separate and true Conservative party. Yes indeedie, that’s what I’m thinking. No blather that I would be handing the election to the Dem’s please. Current establishment Republican Party is nothing more than a “Democrat Lite” party. Who needs that? Not me....

Nice of you to reply and yes I’m picking on Italians - doesn’t everyone :) I was born in Munchen but have a bit of Italian blood too (which was never talked about in my family - lol )

I think you see the parallels to the aftermath of the Versailles Treaty after WW1. Germany and Italy were destroyed and humiliated by the impossible reparation demands.

I find it interesting that the next president will usher in the 100th anniversary of the Versailles Treaty and will take the reins of a humiliated and weakened America under the reign of Obama.

The temptations to make America great again might be too much for a Trump presidency that will seize the opportunity to make government even more powerful and the hell with the Constitution.

It’s crazy when one can vote for Clinton or Sanders or Trump and almost wind up at the same place. Still, like you, I would vote for Trump. At least I know he loves this country.

I think Rush had this once on his TV show:

Q: “How do you know you’ve won an argument with a liberal?”

A: “When you’re called a Fascist”

Rest assured this came from Jeb who is too chick $hit to say it, and have it back fire in his face once again.

What is fascism?

Fascism is the merger of State and Corporate Powers. It is where they work together as a force against the WILL of th We the People.

Obamacare is a prime example of merging for State and Corporate powers or Fascism.

By the way, Jeb is for Obamacare.

The TPP is a rigid agreement, for the States, for the Corporate powers, and a form of Fascism where the States and Corporate powers merge.

By the way, Jeb is for that too

So who REALLY is the fascist? I guess Jeb is appealing to his dumb@ss supporters that do not understand this?

Now I know Jeb was talking about the Syrian situation. ISIS is a sworn enemy of the United States.

The very definition of treason is aiding and abetting a sworn enemy of the United States. Why is Jeb so against doing basic border security that we have done in this county and the around the world?

Even at Ellis island the immigrants had to go through vetting that could have lasted up to 3 months.

Leaving the border wide open and not even doing the basics of checking a valid passport and making sure who is comming in is not associated with terrorist has been in place not only here but in other countries. It’s there to keep people inside safe, but Jeb is against that, and he wants ISIS to come right inside the United States.

It is said that 5 out of passports in this retreat are fake. So why would Jeb be so hell bent on not verifying sworn enemies of the United States?

Remember even the Liberal U.N. says 72% of the refugees are males of fighting age. I actually heard it’s as high 85%, but still 72% is too high. This is the ISIS fighters that loss in Syria. They are being chased out by the Russian attack, retreating through Turkey into Europe and the United States.

What’s funny too is that Jeb is for the illegal surveillance State, that is very FASCIST of All Americans, but then he wants us to open the borders to ISIS? Remember how Jeb went after Snowden, and is very pro surveillance 1984 State EXCEPT when it comes to sworn enemies of the United States. Then Jeb does not even want to do the most basic check for a passport like they do in the airport.

In the past if you got caught with a fake passport. You were rightfully so arrested, jailed, until they figure you out and at the very least sent back. Every country does that around the world except the U.S. now.

Think about what invaders of a country do. They demand you surrender your culture. They take over everything, demand your women, rape your wives, daughters, children and they invade your homes. Do these so called “refugees” look like they are seeking to assimilate into Western Culture? No they are doing all things that Invaders do. They are demanding European women cover up, covert their few Christian Churches to Mosks, they are demanding to live in their homes, demanding welfare, heath care and that Muslim culture be taught, etc..

The worst part is the so called, “leaders” like Merkel, Valls, Cameron are telling Europeans that they must submit to these savages.

How far will it go before Europeans through out these Traitors that are destroying Western civilization?

Fascism is a centrally planned economic system where the government and industry collude. Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany are textbook examples.

SpaceBar, you are the man. (assuming you are a man!) It drives me cuckoo that people get the fascism/Nazism thing all tied together. You have nailed the definition.

To that, I think the US is a borderline fascist state. And when I bring that up, people flip out, and assume I'm calling our politicians Hitler. And of course, that is not it at all. Especially under 0bama, big biz is using government to stomp out smaller competitors through regulations and rules. Big biz and big government are tied at the hip to each other's benefit. Many reasons of course, but I think that is why, under 0bama, small business creation has dived. It is simply too difficult to start and operate a small business these day, due to government regulations.

The Bush administration’s reaction to 911 was fascist. He did not target Islamists with his police state (Patriot Act); he put a target on the backs of all Americans.

How many Americans have been sexually assaulted by TSA? How many of the uni-party’s political and social enemies are now listed as domestic terrorists by Homeland inSecurity?

Yeb has not been reading his brother’s fascist legislation.

Yeb’s favorite Federal re-education program - Common Core where American children have to say oaths to Allah - is a fascist problem we all have to deal with, too.
