I’ll second that.
He’s the un-politician, just what this country needs.
I think he can win as well but will the Repub-Es allow it? They are adamant that Jeb be the nominee so Hitlery can win.
He can win third party. GOPe would be the new third party Riencie knows it
A four-way race? Now that would be interesting.
If the GOP nominates ¡Yeb! and the Democrats nominate Hillary and Trump does run third party, I’ll hold my nose and vote for the lesser evil, Donald Trump.
The GOP has a death wish if they keep advocating for fraudulently documented foreigners
American citizens want the illegal alien inundation stopped.
Trump has changed the political landscape, at least for the Presidency, Bravo!
Go home, skelator...
Trump makes both democrats and republicans look like lilliputian candidates.
Amen.
I’ll withhold judgment on Trump until I find out what his policy is for massive LEGAL immigration and “temporary” guest workers.
Everyone in the Republican field shows at least token resistance to ILLEGAL immigration, although Trump does seem to be the most sincere about that issue.
But, it is massive LEGAL immigration that is systematically destroying the political power of American Conservatives and has crushed the wage scale for low skill workers.
When Trump starts PUBLICLY campaigning to stop anchor babies, to stop family chain immigration, to stop the utterly bogus H-1B work visa, and to dramatically reduce the number of LEGAL immigrants - who vote 80% Democrat when they become citizens - then, and only then, will I take him seriously.
Shudd up wench....
Are you gonna call us all stoopet again, if we don’t vote your way?
.....I love Trump. I love him, and I think he can win, Ms. Coulter said.
I think he can win the nomination and I think he can win as a third party. ...
************
Trump may win as the GOP nominee, but third party, I don’t think so. jmo
Coulter is on my sh*t list but it is true that Trump/Cruz can win it on a 3rd Party ticket. Here’s how:
It’s not such a small chance today as it was in past elections because of a huge relatively unreported change in voter affiliations. They can do it and win fairly easily.
Many think it will be Perot deja-vu all over again; they would be wrong.
Since 1992 the electorate has changed and since 2012 there has been a seldom reported sea change in voter registration affiliations.
In 2008, 24% of the electorate identified themselves as Independent. After 2012 and by 2014 that number surged to 42% of the electorate identifying themselves as Independent. That is an ENORMOUS change and 2/3’s of those 42% identify themselves as conservatives with most of the rest as moderates or leaning conservative.
As a result of this huge growth in the ranks of Independents, there remain only 27% republican affiliated and 31% democrat affiliated. Of the 27% republican registered, 18% are conservative base and the rest moderate or establishment, and the conservative base are mostly following Cruz and now Trump. Of the democrats 31%, 8% (of electorate) are Latino-Americans and 5% (of electorate) are Reagan democrats. Cruz will take 40% of the Latino vote (as he did in TX) and all of the Reagan democrats or will share them with Trump.
Cruz has also tapped into the 17 million apathetic but conservative-leaning Americans that dont bother to register or vote because they see a one-party system and correctly determine that the candidates offered represent the same Oligarchs. So they withdraw and stay quiet until they have had contact in town halls with Ted Cruz. Now they are fired up.
There is no danger of a Perot-like splinter of the GOP. There is the very real possibility that Cruz/Trump takes (in % of total electorate) 28% as Independents, 3% Latino-Americans, 5% of Reagan democrats, up to 18% of the GOP conservative base and millions more who are inspired for the first time in a generation to register and show up to vote.
No matter how it is sliced, Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz leave the democrats and GOPe at a loss in a 3-way race. If a 3rd party movement were to emerge, the only way to stop the above confluence of political realities is to fantasize that the democrats and republicans will merge officially < NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
But a 3rd Party movement is still in the fringe and will likely not happen. However, a merging of Trump and Cruz is very possible.
I think he can win the nomination and I think he can win as a third party.
Neither of those things will happen.
A third party guarantees a Hillary or Bernie win. Just saying. We either fight for our liberty, of we don’t.
Ann’s good on some things, but in her latest book she’s still pushing Romney as the solution to illegal immigration.
And she’s just as off target with this notion.
Trump can win it either way.
Though I think I would prefer he win it as an independent so as to put another nail in the coffin of the GOP.
Damn, I hate those guys.
At least she's consistent with her ideals, that she fails to place
in her books for some odd reason. Oh wait, yea it's Conservative
Money she wants. /Fraud
