Picking another establishment GOP presidential nominee in the mold of Mitt Romney, John McCain or Bob Dole to run against Democrats in 2016 will guarantee that Hillary Clinton wins the White House, GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"It will in effect be a third term for Barack Obama," the Texas Republican said in an exclusive interview with "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner.

As president, said Cruz, he would put an end to the domestic and foreign policies of President Barack Obama, both of which he said have been a "disaster."
As a primary candidate, he said, he is on "a very short list" of contenders who have fought for core conservative values on every critical policy front, from efforts to repeal Obamacare to confronting the mullahs of Iran....

Walker will make a fine VP for Cruz.
Ted Cruz: Without Energized Conservative Voters, ‘We Lose’ in 2016
__________________________________________________
Ted is 100 percent correct. Yet if we are stuck with Jebbie or some other dweeb and we lose again -
The blame will (once again) be on fundie conservatives.
Absolutely true, as the Free Sh*t Brigades will be crawling over broken glass to vote to ensure the freebie train keeps on rolling.
I just wish the Walker and Jebbie Brigades would realize this.
What makes you think that they’re in it to win it? I don’t think McCain and Romney were, do you?
I believe that Cruz is correct. A RINO like Jeb Bush will cause the conservative base to stay home.
FR always gets theirs, but for the first time, a politician that is running for a primary is getting dollars, too.

How many “Reagan Democrats” and right-leaning & center-leaning Independents do you think want to vote for a third Bush?
Walker doesn’t energize. The base is energized by Ted Cruz. Ted is the real deal.
He gets it.
No wonder Juan McCain hates Ted
Well, the conservatives took back the Senate and the House in 2012, if anyone notices any changes in how DC does business as a result, please let us know. When it comes to US politics, how much more proof do the American people need to understand that a politician’s words are cheep, especially while they are campaigning? My point, DC is not going to fix itself from within no matter who is in the WH.
Sorry Mr. Cruz, the News Media says no face time for you unless they can make you look ridiculous and use your worst picture for publication. That’s the way it is in this new Amerika. You make headway, and they will make you a Bully for sure.

“Well, the conservatives took back the Senate and the House in 2012, “
Correction. Republicans took back the Senate and the House.
I refuse to be guilted into voting for yet another Republican liberal. If I have to, I'll write in Ted Cruz's name. The party will not pick my candidate for me ever again.
If you really don't want the party to pick another loser for you to vote for, the time to act is now. Donate, volunteer, get off your butt and step away from your computer, whatever it takes to make sure your candidate is nominated, not theirs.
Not many.
Basically, the GOP is a mess right now because the GOPe has to have their way - kind of like the way the Democrats treat the GOP. They want conservative votes, then they want conservatives to shut up and go away for two more years.
