There is no middle ground. You are either for it or for homosexual and anything goes marriage.

That is right. You either have a real marriage instituted by God or you don't.

The laws on marriage have always been very specific.

A man and woman have to be of marriageable age, there can be no incest, both man and woman must be able to consent to it.

Ya can't marry an animal that is not human.

Ya can't marry an inanimate object.

At one time you couldn't marry if your blood test was positive for syphilis.

At some point God will let us know exactly what he really thinks about homosexuality and abortion.

Rubio is angling to steal votes from Jeb it seems

That's the way I look at it. He's not my candidate but I hope he stays in the race and takes away jeb votes.

I read the link. Supposedly he said he would attend a wedding if it were someone he loved. So what would most Freepers do if your son/daughter was getting “married” to someone of the same sex?

"There is no middle ground."

I agree.

Constitutionally clueless Sen. Rubio evidently doesn’t understand (ignores?) that marriage is a 10th Amendment-protected state power issue. He is a good example why state lawmakers should never have ratified the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, foolishly giving up the voices of state lawmakers in Congress by doing so.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.

When it comes to MANY issues, Marco Rubio will probably be trying to stake out positions between Cruz and Clinton.

He has already revised his amnesty/illegal immigration position several times.

You’re either a conservative or a liberal. The minute you stray on only one thing, as small as it is, you are no longer a conservative. Moderate isn’t an ideology. It’s a spot on a fence post which knocks you over depending on how the wind is blowing.

Makes for good politics, but horrible ideologically.

There’s NO WAY in blazes I’d attend a homo-wedding, even if it were my son/daughter/best-friend getting “married.”

If I did, it would be a betrayal of my soul, a betrayal of my God, and render me a willing accomplice in what I see as the cultural degeneration of my country and its embrace of depravity.

Let’s not leave Paul out of this.

“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul advised. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who don’t want to be festooned by those issues.”

If I had a friend who has celebrating and making public his adulterous affair with a woman, I would shun him. We all sin. The objective is to recognize the sin and then go and sin no more. Flaunting your sin and making it public that you do not repent is a serious problem to me.

Same if the person was a thief, an embezzler, etc.

So homo pervert activities are no different. They flaunt their sin and proclaim that they are not repentant. I do not spent time with such people and I certainly do not participate in the celebration of their unrepentant sinning.

Stay at home. Or go on vacation. What would you do?

He’s dead to me

So when all the other candidates are ultimately asked the same question, and will likely give the same considerate answer, who's left for you to vote for?

Let me guess, you're going to stay home and not vote.............LOL!

The stay at home purists are our party's worst enemy...Evidence being they gave us Obama........

Well if “our party” (your words) either keeps cowering before the Big Anus lobby, or actively embraces this perverted depravity, it can hardly constitute “my party” anymore.

I will indeed stay home. As will my entire family. I’ve already done it once. Voted for every single GOP candidate in every office, in every single election, my entire voting life. Until Romney, who helped facilitate fag-marriage onto the country when he was governor of his state. The bastard can go choke to death, and ditto any more GOP scumbags who continue to empower the homo-fascists.

Marco Rubio tries to find middle ground on just about everything.Marco Rubio tries to find middle ground on just about everything.

This is what he gets for listening to Karl Rove types. A rep as a trimmer and a pile of dog doo on his desk. Sorry, Marco, you could have been a great Tea Partier and the next Ronald Reagan.

Then you have no reason whatsoever to enter this forum and criticize Obama since you helped elect him....

You and your fellow "stay-at-home" purists sure sent a message to the GOP didn't you? And by your actions, you screwed this country................Nice, really nice!
