Sen. Ted Cruz (R. of Texas) on Wednesday commended Indiana Gov. Mike Pence for signing the state's controversial religious freedom law. 'Religious liberty is not some fringe view,' Cruz said.

Sioux City, Iowa — Texas Sen. Ted Cruz says concern about religious freedom, awakened in the debate over a new Indiana law, could unite conservative Republicans and rally some Democrats to the GOP in 2016.

Cruz told an audience Wednesday he could carry the banner for that cause in his GOP presidential campaign....

Yes. This guy’s the smartest conservative since Reagan (and possibly more so), so he’ll be able to articulate any conservative position excellently and without any apologies!

Good. While the left rabidly threatens to burn down Christian owned businesses we need someone unafraid to lead and speak clearly for freedom.

Good. I think he is unafraid of the Left unlike all the rest of the pansies of the GOP who cave at the first hint of criticism. Go Ted Cruz.

Americans are demanding a fighter, they elected to kick out the Dems from Congress and
the GOP has flipped them off and spit in their faces.

Cruz will bring the fight to them and they will suffer the wrath of our Constitution.

“This guy’s the smartest conservative since Reagan”

I think Reagan was one of the 5 best presidents in US history. That said I do not think he was necessarily that smart. He was wise and what he knew was correct but Reagan’s genius was in communicating ideas not creating them or validating them.

Cruz is a whole different animal in terms of intelligence. He actually removes the lefts big slur that conservatives are dumb. Cruz can also like Reagan put complex ideas into language most people can understand. This frightens the left because they believe that they are smart ones. When they lose the mantle of intelligence they are in trouble.

I actually think the left is soiling their underwear at the thought of dealing with him.

The homos, the media have thought that they won in this latest manufactured crises, but many Christians will stand up and stand behind and support Ted Cruz against this hideous Goliath.

They shout taunts “ we shall over come “ .... Ohh no they will not.

The gates of hell shall not prevail against Christ’s Church.

I am hoping Cruz can rally a large segment of black Christians to our side in 2016. If he can do that, then the dems are toast.

My personal comment is:

It’s about F******g time someone with “influence” stood up for the “majority” in this country.

Take that comment however you will (not directed at you personally), but I no longer care about those who are beholden to the asinine “PC Go along to get along” cowards in our society.

If he only got 15% of Blacks, then it’s President Cruz.

zero gets 91% of them, let’s up that number.

I was not politically minded when Regan when was POTUS.

And yes Cruz “is a whole different animal in terms of intelligence”.

Frankly, imho he’s the only one that can save this ship of a country going down the tubes and ‘right it again.

Oh, and that O’Malley guy? Dems will be so fooled by him- he’s not only an adulterer but was a rubber-stamper for the State of Maryland since he was guv and Junior took office.
