Limbaugh: Jeb Bush really running to kill tea party

'It's all about us being the No. 1 enemy of these people'

PALM BEACH, Florida – With the announcement Tuesday by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush that he plans to “actively explore” a run for president in 2016, radio host Rush Limbaugh says the real reason Jeb is seeking the White House is to choke the influence of tea-party conservatives out of the Republican Party.

“You want to know why Jeb Bush is thinking about running?” Limbaugh asked on his top-rated program Tuesday.

“He’s … being looked at as savior by the big-money donor class and the consultant class – the establishment of the party – to head off the tea party. They’re gonna pull out all the stops to make sure that a tea-party-type conservative doesn’t get the nomination.

“It could be a sacrificial run just to make sure that a conservative doesn’t get the nomination in 2016. There’s a whole bunch of stuff under the surface here that’s percolating and effervescing, and it’s all about us being the No. 1 enemy of these people.”(continued)

Show me one example in the past 60 years where a third party candidate for either party won an election or at the very least, helped the party on whatever political side of the aisle they were running on

there hasn't been but irrelevant.

Implied in your post is the belief that if, for example, it's Jeb vs Hillary then Conservatives should suck it up and vote for Jeb?

Tell me, since Reagan, how has voting for the lesser of two evils has gotten us any movement towards Liberty?

I pray a new reality will be that Conservatives by the millions will stop voting for evil RINOs.Never gain should any RINO get any Conservative's vote.

RINOs like Jeb are no less destructive than most RATs -- he is a rabid Statist.

Jeb's support of Common Core alone should repulse any Conservative.

Never again will I vote Party over Principle. Have a good day.

How did Ross Perot work out for ya?

He worked out great for conservatives. He prevented either statist leftist, Clinton or Bush/Dole, from getting a majority mandate. The clear majority of voters rejected Clinton BOTH TIMES at the ballot box. People squawk about how "popular" he was, but that's a media projection. The reality is that in both elections, a clear majority rejected him. It made conservatism stronger. Clinton was hit by the Republican Revolution, and then impeached.

When you voted for Romney, tell me, Tabasco: What were you voting for? I get that you were voting "for keeping Obama out of office," but to do that, you necessarily had to vote FOR something else.

What was it? Can you own it? Probably not. You will probably spin bubbles about what you intended to vote against. I don't blame you. It is very difficult to be accountable for what you voted FOR, Tabasco.

When I voted for Tom Hoefling, knowing he would lose and that either Obama or Romney would win the presidency, I was voting for a plurality.

I was voting to weaken functional Democrat liberal tyrants of both parties. Anytime you vote for a functional Democrat, even if it is a Republican, you are voting to increase and strengthen the side of tyranny. I don't like it any more than you do, that voting "against" isn't on the ballot, but at least I've finally accepted it.

It's about time you did, because reaping the consequences of what you vote for is the way it is, whether you like it or not.

In the broadcasting world of Rush and Levin, ya just don't do that!

I understand that.

I also understand that "the broadcasting world" is different than the real world. In the real world, most of Rush's "public" told Romney to go to hell because they ain't buying what you and Rush are buyin'. They know a sucker's game when they see one.

Thank you, there hasn't been and it's totally relevant.........

You give me a viable third party candidate and I'll gladly support him/her. Until then, don't expect me to vote for your Ross Perot and hand the presidential election over to the Democraps............

... the GOPe dominates the party and are all about increasing State Power over the individual.

That's it in a nutshell! Bull's eye.

Pelham, how did you vote in that CA gov's race, if I may ask? It's okay if you tell me to mind my own biz. :^)

As I noted earlier, I left it blank. Voting for Tyranny 1 or Tyranny 1A is a loser's game.

Better to fight tyranny you rejected than tyranny you elected.

“Pelham, how did you vote in that CA gov’s race, if I may ask? “

I left it blank. I thought about writing in Tim Donnelly but wasn’t sure how to go about it.

Neel Kashkari, the Hindu, Obama-voting, abortion-approving, gay-marriage-endorsing, amnesty-pushing, supporter of gun control would fit nicely in Obama’s cabinet. And in fact Kashkari once worked for him.

What’s important is for us to remember who the Republicans are who endorsed this freak while denouncing tea party favorite Tim Donnelly. Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Jeb Bush, Karl Rove, Condi Rice, Darrell Issa, and Pete Wilson all did this.

Thank you. Hewitt was also a big one for Thune.

Hugh has become such a ... joke. "Disappointment" is an understatement. And it's galling because it was Hugh, back in the early 2000s, who tuned me in to FR. He loved FR back then. I'm grateful for that! I stopped listening to him after three of four years.

I should have added irrelevant with regards to increasing Liberty and reducing State Power.

You give me a viable third party candidate and I'll gladly support him/her. Until then, don't expect me to vote for your Ross Perot and hand the presidential election over to the Democraps............

Karl Rove and the evil GOPe thanks you. Their entire game plan since Reagan has been to run rabid Statists knowing that Conservatives will always vote the lesser of two evils

Hopefully, millions of additional Conservatives will wake up and say, Never Again.

In 2016 if there is a RINO vs a RAT go ahead and vote for the RINO. I will just down ticket and do a write-in for President.

I listen to Hugh and Medved just so I can know what con the GOP establishment is pushing.

Hewitt never disappointed me because I knew what he was from the Prop 187 campaign back in 1994. Hugh had barely unpacked his Ohio carpet bag when he joined the pro amnesty GOPe goon squad that worked at defeating us. He crows about his pro illegal alien sympathies unless and until he remembers it pisses off the listeners who aren’t already on to him. Medved is as bad if not worse at barely hiding his elitist contempt for the tea party and grassroots conservatives.

HUH? What bizzarro world are you living in bro? Who the hell cares about a "majority mandate" other than you who is trying to impress us with your political ignospeak?

Perot handed the election to Clinton and that's all that matters...

As far as your claim of "impeachment", that only went thru the House and was ultimately rejected by key Republican Senators..which by the way pissed me off!

As far as I'm concerned, if you remain in office then you ain't impeached........

As for me voting for Romney, as I've stated over and over and over and over again, he was not my choice in the primary. Never was and never would have been!

So why did I vote for him? Because he was the only Republican on the ballot that had the support of everyone who voted for him in the primary!.

So tell me Finny, just who did YOU vote for in the presidential election and how did that work out fer YOU and the rest of this country?

I could care less on how much you and everyone hated Romney, it's the fools like you who either stayed home or voted some other knucklehead that gave us Obama..So don't blame me!

Give me a legitimate third party candidate that has the support of the majority of the Republican/Conservative party and I will vote for him and support him locally without reservation@!

Plain truth you cannot own up to: you voted FOR the Republican party to turn hard left.

How did THAT work out for you? How would it have worked out for you if the functional leftist Republican had WON?

Since I've already answered that question many, many times, it is obvious that you don't actually READ the posts here. You are mostly broadcast, and very little receive.

YOU have yet to answer my simple question:

When you voted for Romney, what were you voting FOR? The answer "I was voting FOR keeping Obama out of office" is a self-deceiving answer.

Hot Tabasco, tell us all here: what were you voting FOR when you voted for Romney?

I'll tell you what you were voting for. You were voting FOR the Republican party to embrace the Democrat agenda.

Own it, please. Either that, or stay home on election day because YOU are a low-information voter.

So you actually think that if a clear majority of Americans hadn't REJECTED Clinton at the ballot box BOTH TIMES he was elected, or that if a clear majority hadn't rejected Bush/Dole at the ballot box if they had won instead of Clinton, that the Republican Revolution would still have happened?

Like I said, it is better for American when folks like you stay at home on election day because YOU, Tabasco, are a low information voter who relies on emotion and what the MSM wants you to believe, as your guide, hence you make stupid decisions in the polling booth -- you voted in 2012 for the Republican party to embrace the entire Democrat agenda, from government-run health care to the homosexual and environmentalist agendas, and you are in denial. You are utterly incapable of being responsible or accountable for what you voted FOR.

You really, really should stay home on election day. Leave the voting to people who can think and who are willing to be responsible and accountable for what they voted FOR, including pluralities. No one anywhere is EVER accountable or responsible for what they voted "against." Voting "against" is like voting for the tooth fairy.

I already ANSWERED that in a post addressed TO YOU earlier in the thread.

You read as well as you vote: that is, badly and emotionally.
