Will it be Democrats or Republicans who have national appeal? Do any of these 13 Republicans have a chance? Jonathan Easley put them out there in an article in The Hill this morning just as the National Politics Examiner published a list of Democrats. See the story link below.
Lets analyze the Easley list.
He begins by positioning what are identified as the big three: Paul, Christie, and Bush.
As porkers go, Paul doesnt have a chance as Christie and Bush win the weigh in. Bushs heaviness is as much of a concern as Hillarys age, maybe. Christie loses on buffoonery and offensiveness. Paul would win on right-wing eccentricity, but Americans are not right-wing. So, the nod goes to Jeb Bush, among the three.
Who are next?
Not Mike Huckabee again. He cant even secure an audience on Fox News.
Ted Cruz gets a lot of media attention for his right-wing ideas, however, when push comes to shove, hes a Canadian. Show us your birth certificate.
Why would Marco Rubio be in the second tier? Rubio is probably most electable because he demonstrates a degree of flexible reasoning. A Latino is an attractive quality. However, his life is lacking achievement.
Scott Walker doesnt communicate well and the job of president requires high communication skills.
Rick Perry is simply too ignorant....

Yes, hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Bunch of crock
Well... the title seems rather ambiguous.
Sorry. We've 'evolved' past all that, with Obama.
Whoever wins the primary, I predict 25% of the FReepers who vocally support him will ultimately be banned.........
What makes you think there is going to be an election in 2016?
Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Christie is similar to Rudy Guiliani, he is a liberal republican and would fit in with the northeast and western GOP voters, but given how the primaries work, he would get creamed fairly early on. Who really wants another Bush? Plus, Walker or Cruz could butcher Bush. Walker is easy to underestimate, but put in mind, he still got re-elected and came out a winner despite Labor Unions huffing and puffing to destroy him, could easily argue that he came up with decent policy despite opposition. Paul, he isn’t with what a lot of the GOP voters to make a Primary. He is good with his district, but nationally, you have a different story.
Obama will run again - he has a precedent; FDR.
Is the author, James George an out of touch moron? I think so.
And no mention of Sarah Palin anywhere, even though she is the only one out there with proven moral values and executive experience, and is a brilliant debater?
Of the rest of them, I like Ted Cruz, but I think he belongs in congress, where he could do a lot of good.
The GOP is gearing up for another loss with a loser so the least likeliest deadbeat rat will win and we will be flushed down the toilet again
That's not really a problem. Ike beat the glib-tongued Adlai Stevenson.
A lady came up to Adlai and said, "Mr. Stevenson, you have the vote of every thinking American."
He answered, "Madam, I need a majority."
Scott Walker has a great track record. He may be a little squishy on amnesty, but he is a seal-the-border-first man.
Nice try, Doc. The guy communicates with you and me who might be able to differentiate between content and packaging. But his nerdliness will not IMNVHO play with the tattooed fatties in the Wal-Mart Parking Lot.
In re Communication: I said to my far-left daughter, "I truly cannot understand a word Obama says!"
She said to me, "Dad, that is because you're not supposed to. Those words are not for you."
She is 100% correct. Today's communication is more on an emotional level and relation to facts does not count for much. Think of SEO on Google, key words, a response is triggered to something someone is looking for.
