A national tea party group will hold a news conference in Wichita on Monday with U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts, but leaders stopped short of saying whether the group plans to endorse the Republican incumbent.
“It will be an announcement,” said Taylor Budowich, executive director of the Tea Party Express, a California-based group that describes itself as the nation’s largest tea party political action committee.
The news conference, set for 11 a.m. at the Sedgwick County Republican party headquarters in west Wichita, will be attended by Roberts and local tea party leaders and activists, Budowich said.
Earlier this year the group endorsed physician Milton Wolf in his bid to unseat the three-term senator in the state’s Republican primary....

These RINOs were beat out for various state offices by conservatives in KS Clean Sweep elections, now they're out endorsing anyone but the GOP, yet still claiming to be Republicans and they're TOAST in the GOP!
If I could advise Milton Wolf, I'd tell him to examine his desire for a political future because no Democrat will ever support him and right now, he's in danger of losing any future in the GOP.
Yes I blame them totally for not endorsing someone with a 96 ACU Rating.
Roberts will continue voting correctly for the people. We need a break...that will not happen with more Ormans in office. Wolf needs to care for the people...and not himself.

The problem with 2016 is that Rats vote in Presidential elections. They skip midterms.

Conservatives sat out the election in droves. What did it get us? A marxist president whose only prior experience was as a community organizer and who is dedicated to destroying the United States, along with Democrat super-majorities in both the House and Senate.
Obama won a larger percentage of the popular vote than any Democrat presidential candidate since Lyndon Johnson in 1964 (one year after Kennedy was assassinated). You would think that might have sent some kind of message to the Republican Party.
So how did the Republican Party respond? Nominating Mittens Romney for President in 2010.
You cannot send the Republican Party a message by electing Democrats. It has never worked and it will never work. Electing Democrats just feeds into the false narrative that conservatives cannot win national elections because of changing demographics. Conservatives cannot win national elections because they don't get nominated.
Do whatever it takes to get a conservative candidate nominated in 2016 and then fight like hell to get him elected by a landslide. That is the only thing that will ever send a message.

I have a better chance of keeping republicans on the straight and narrow w/ conservative principles when they’re in office in a controlled Senate.
My numbers come from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections.
In 2012, the total voting age population (U.S. Citizens over the age of 18) was 215,081,000. The total number of registered voters was 153,157,000.
Obama got a total of 65,918,507 votes, which equals approximately 30.6% of total voting age population or 43% of all registered voters.
Romney got a total of 60,934,407 votes, which equals approximately 28.33% of total voting age population or 39.8% of all registered voters.
That leaves approximately 40% of the voting age population or 17% of the registered voters who stayed home.
Now, imagine if the Republicans had nominated a strong conservative candidate for President in 2010. You don't think a strong conservative candidate could have could have gotten some of those missing 40% of the voting population and 17% of the registered voters to the polls?
By way of comparison, Bush got re-elected in 2004 with 31.5% of the total voting age population or 43.7% of the registered voters. Bush was a moderate/liberal. The only reason he got re-elected was enough conservatives were scared enough of how close we had come to having President Algore on 9/11 that they came to the polls to vote against President Kerry. Certainly, Bush did not win re-election because of his "compassionate conservative" tax and spend domestic policies.
If Mittens Romney had only done as well as Bush (either as a percentage of the total or registered vote) he would have won.
In 1984, Reagan, the last conservative Republican presidential candidate, was re-elected with a total of 54,455,472 votes, which equaled approximately 32% of total voting age population or 47% of all registered voters.
The difference between Reagan's 32%/47% in 1984 and Romney's 28%/40% in 2010 is conservatives staying home in droves.

The Dems have fierce primary battles too. But after the primary is over, they always circle wagons around the party nominee.

Uh huh.... sure they do. I don’t recall Hillary campaigning for Obama. The Clintons and Obamas hate each other. Bill and Hillary probably voted for McCain in ‘08. And, I agree with those who are convinced that Bill and Hillary put Leon Panetta up to diss Obama on national television. Yes, the Obama who is pushing Liz “Lie-a-Whoppa” Warren to run for the Dem nod in 2016.

Hell yes, Cornyn won. Stockman didn’t “run”. He didn’t do crap.... no TV ads... no personal appearances..... All he did was send out e-mails attacking Cornyn. He had one campaign HQ Office and NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE and they did not return calls. We finally ascertained that Steve Stockman only ran to get campaign money to pay off former campaign debts. He was my Congressman both times he was in Congress. The guy needs to be in a mental ward somewhere.
