Oh yes

Always a reason to support these asshats isn’t there

Not this time

You and innovative should study this election

That dog is what got us here ....its like taking a girl to homecoming and she gangbangs the opposing team and you’re supposed to still give her a ride home?

Cochrans team is your date

You can have her.

It’s ~10m each way to my polling place. Gas ain’t cheap these days either. I’m sure in November it’ll already be dark by the time I’m able to go vote. Cold too probably.

And I’m supposed to spend my money on gas to go and vote for someone who ran on ‘anyone who thinks $17T in debt is insane is a KKKluker and wants to starve all the little black children’ as a platform.

No thanks.

For what it’s worth.........

The MS General election for Senator in the past has had more votes than what was
tallied in the primaries.

Both Wicker and Cochran in their previous elections tallied over 700,000 votes in the General
but somewhere in the mid 300,000 in the primaries. There were some 370,000 votes in the
primary runoff this time. So if history holds there are many votes to be added for the
general that didn’t vote in the primary. The question becomes will they show this primary
season and if so whom will they cast their ballot for?

I have no idea how those non primary voters would vote assuming they will vote.
But my point is there are many more voters out there for the general than for the
primary. Granted both the previous generals were also presidential elections so
turnout is higher. But still they weren’t primary election voters.

“You seem to ignore the fact that an Elected US Senator... represents all of the people in his/her district or state.”

Re-read what I wrote, billhilly. If this had been a general election I would’ve accepted the results. But this was a PRIMARY, where members of a particular party, in this instance Republicans, choose the individual to represent them whom members of that party (again, read “Republican”) deem to be most closely in line with their political ideology. Do you believe the 25-35k Democrat who voted en masse for Cochran did so because they favor Republican representation over Democrat? Do you believe that they voted for the more difficult candidate for Travis Childers to defeat? Also ask yourself why Thad didn’t make this appeal for voters outside the party and why the robo-calls didn’t start until after he was defeated in the first vote?
My reasons for opposing Thad Cochran are still there, and this recent primary campaign only strengthens my resolve. An incumbent who refuses to debate a member of his own party before his constituents, his cutting deals to get Dems to vote for him, his ads appealing for Dem voters by telling them all the free benefits they received from him would be in jeopardy with a McDaniel win, calls going mainly to black-majority communities warning of Klan-like results if he lost, and all the while spouting conservative-sounding rhetoric to appease his Republican base. At this moment I can’t point to a finer example of classic RINO behavior, and all it took to keep to keep him in the race was the help of several thousand Democrat voters.
No, billhilly, this isn’t a case of sour grapes or not understanding the law re: elections. Just ask yourself this, right now who do you think Cochran is more beholden to, the Republican voters who tried to install a new man free of 40+ years of backroom deals and “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” arrangements under his fingernails, or the Democrat voters who kept his political career alive? Drinking the Kool-Aid and voting for Cochran is not the answer. Demonstrating to Cochran’s handlers and to the RNC that the people of Mississippi will not tolerate this behavior on their part, even if it means sacrificing a Senate seat, is IMO our only chance of making sure this despicable performance is never repeated in this state.

Oh yes I did.....And this is being reported in a way that smears McDaniel....Maybe you didn’t read the article.....Fielder still says only that the interview was paid for by the journalist interviewing him. He still says he was NOT paid by McDaniel’s campaign to claim anything.

This is the Barbour machine at its ugliest

You need to cut the crap and name yourself so your constituents can make up their minds about their elected official who hides behind a screenname and ATTACKS good and decent Conservatives and belittles them for not supporting Thad the Cad, a CHEAT who committed massive voter fraud and deceit to keep his power. Establishment thugs like you are a cancer on the body politic. You have no shame and no character.

Your Post #6 is spot on. You’re right; Travis Childers (Dem Candidate) is a “Zell Miller type”. He is anti-same sex marriage, Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment. And, check this out: There is a “Republican for Childers” organization forming. Travis Childers is actively pursuing the pissed off Pubbies in MS; and there is about 200,000 of them.

WHOA!!! THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS!!! Now we know why billhilly is so in love with Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour.... he’s one of their elected cronies. Now, we understand why he defends graft, corruption and voter fraud. Another slimey, Mississippi politician. THANKS FOR SHOWING YOUR TRUE COLORS A-hole! If you had any credibility, you just lost it.

I would not expect you to make a 20 mile round trip to vote for Cochran. But, don't stay home; go vote and write-in Chris or vote for the "Zell Miller-style", Pro-life, Pro-2nd Amendment, anti-same sex marriage Democrat; Travis Childers. If I lived in MS, I sure as hell would.

Boy I sure raised the temperature with that little tidbit. My position is an unpaid one, and not very important at that. I simply mentioned it because someone from another state was telling me that I am not paying attention to what was going in Mississippi.

At any rate, It allows me to see just how crude many of the posters really are. Of course, in their minds they are as pure of thought as the driven snow. Quick to slam and curse anyone who disagrees with them, but pure of thought. No thanks.
