He says it like it's a good thing.

“At the end of 2011, all of them look uninspiring save one: Jon Huntsman, the former governor of Utah and President Barack Obamas former ambassador to China.”
A blogger who wants to try to pump another candidate. How cute.

I kinda thought Romney was the new McCain and Ron Paul was the new Norman Thomas meets Pat Paulsen.

Huntsman will be battling Buddy Romer for last place. And sadly, Huntsman has spent a heck of a lot more money. Bachmann will finish slightly in front of those two. She is one of the biggest disappointments.

Why would we want to run a new McCain if the old McCain lost to Obama in an electoral landslide?

Yes, Huntsman is a smart guy. If that was his problem, then how to explain Newt’s popularity?

I have to say, I agree with much of what this guy says.
Huntsman may not be a hard line Republican, but then again, he doesn't pretend to be one.

So, is this the best that Huntsman can do for an endorsement as the first vote draws near? A Lebanese Muslim, who is an expert on Islamic Law?
His first book was “The renewal of Islamic law: Muhamad Baqer as-Sadr, Najaf, and the Shi’i International” (Cambridge University Press: Middle East Library, 1993). I presume he’s talking about sharia law.
