Diehard Sarah Palin Volunteers Still Believe She's Running For President (New attack Meme)
Business Insider ^ | July 5, 2011 | Grace Wyler

Posted on 07/05/2011 1:08:08 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Although most political analysts have written off the possibility that Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012, a group of diehard Palin fans-turned-amateur political activists of Organize4Palin are convinced that the 2008 vice presidential candidate plans to throw her hat in the ring.

RealClearPolitics' Scott Conroy reports today that the grassroots volunteer network is still trying to lay the groundwork for a Palin 2012 presidential campaign, particularly in Iowa, home to the first-in-nation caucuses.

It is unclear just how many Organize4Palin volunteers are on the ground, but the group reportedly has a presence in the majority of Iowa's 99 counties. The organization also claims to have active chapters in more than 30 states.

In Iowa, California lawyer Peter Singleton is leading the charge of volunteers, who have spent the last few months attending GOP Central Committee meetings, contacting Republican organizers, and making inroads with Tea Party activists — steps that the SarahPAC has notably failed to take.

Singleton swears he has no contact with Palin or SarahPAC, a claim that seems increasingly implausible after last week's Iowa premiere of the Palin biopic "The Undefeated." Conroy points out that Singleton was in contact with Palin aide Rebecca Mansour before the premiere and seemed to be in charge of handling all of the event logistics....

I didn’t metion them but somehow in your mind that means I was linking them?

seriously seek help. Palin is well read and knows strategy of course she is going to use strategies thathave worked in the past. do you think you have to be Sun Tzu to read and understand his concepts?

Her bus tour was a classic book example of a Doolittle Raid strategy.

so in your mind that means Palin is Doolittle?

get a grip. your PDS has taken over.

I didn’t make any of this up. These are serious comparisons made by Palin (™) supporters here.

I find your list of people Palin(TM) has been compared to, to be quite intresting.  Thanks for starting the list and keeping it up to date.

Nice work.

As much as I appreciated President Ronald Wilson Reagan, I don't remember once feeling compelled to compare him to someone else.  President Reagan WAS the someone else you compared others to, not the other way around.

Her bus tour was a classic book example of a Doolittle Raid strategy.

Please explain how this is to those of us not confined to rooms with padded walls.

Doolittle et al staged an air raid on Japan in WWII.
Palin and family rode around in an RV visiting historical landmarks.
Yeah, a lot of similarity there!

wow sorry to see you use such one dimensional thinking.
Per Doolittle's autobiography: The Japanese people had been told they were invulnerable ... An attack on the Japanese homeland would cause confusion in the minds of the Japanese people and sow doubt about the reliability of their leaders. There was a second, and equally important, psychological reason for this attack ... Americans badly needed a morale boost.

the liberals had been told that Palin was hated in the NE that she would never dare show her face in the liberal NE that her support was in flyover country. The Bus tour was a major moral boost to her supporters, her great reception in 5 deep blue cities sowed doubt in the minds of the avg citizen that she was as hated as the media told them. ...... it sowed confusion in the gop establishment and DNC as to her intentions and showed them that Palin reach and stregth had been greatly underestimated by them. it lead directly to the overreaction of the email witch hunt which futher set back the antiplain forces. the Doolittle quote is from his book but copied that quote from this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doolittle_Raid

I don’t know where you got the idea that I am a supporter of Alan Keyes. I’ve said many times over the years that I think he’s a crackpot.

RE :”Doolittle et al staged an air raid on Japan in WWII.

It's obvious.
New England liberals are like the Imperial Militarized Japanese. New England is like the Japanese Island. Palin’s tour bus was like Doolittle’s bomber.
Doolittle bombed Japan by surprise. Palin visited NE by surprise.
The bomber landed in China. Palin landed in NH.
Doolittle made it out of China. Palin made it out of NH went back to AK for jury duty.
Doolittle went back to bombing in WWII. Palin attended a showing of 'the Undefeated'

Don't you know anything about history?

If the MSM actually did it’s homework, they would spot the CLUES that she’s in it for 2012. Palin did say this if she did run, it would be “unconventional”.

1. Helping to elect Tea Party candidates and conservatives in 2010. Major political coinage

2. Madison, Wisconson speech....”Mr. President, GAME ON!!!”

3. Sarahpac website getting an upgrade

4. O4P in 30 states (and growing...especially in early primary states)

5. Bus tour

6. “The Undefeated”....started out with the Palins asking filmaker Bannan (”Gemeration Zero”, “Fire from the Heartland”) for a few video shorts and he counter-offerd with a two hour documentary (under his control and money....he is a capitalist after all). The movie will be shown in the early primary states, AMC theaters, PPV, downloads and DVDs. Coincidence?? Hmmmmm. Political operatives have called “The Undefeated” a “game changer”.

7. Neary 3.2 million FB fans (and growing)

8. Highest “intensity rating” amongst the GOP field

9. Most loyal fan base and voting base within the GOP

10. Palin could of told the O4P people to stop, BUT SHE HASN’T !!! In fact, she has been subtlely encouraging them (Pella impromptu speech). Only a sadist or ego maniac would string people along for a POTUS ride only to bail in the last minute. Is Sarah pulled that kind stunt, then she’s finished...every snipe calling her a glory-hound or publicity-money-grubber would be true.

11. At the drop of a hat, she can snap her fingers and the cash would flow. Volunteers would pop out of the woodwork.

12. If she wasn’t running the MSM, DNC and DC elites would ignore her and write her off as just another “cheerleader” like Huckabee, Buchanon or Ferraro. She would fade into the night as a trivial pursuit question.

13. She’s been hiring a staff in the subject areas of foreign policy, economics, public relations, and campaign strategy. “Cheerleaders” DON’T DO THAT.

RE :”Classic. A big smile all the way through the post. LOL!!

Thanks, anyone that knows anything about history should see that Palin’s vacation/US founders history bus tour was the same as Doolittle's bombing raid on Japan, just repeating history all over again ...:)

Sometimes you have to respond to insanity with a clarification of it's points to appreciate the humor in it.

Now perhaps we can get a SGT York comparison but instead picking off Hinneys at a turkey shoot, she can mow down Moosies in the frozen tundra, that is, if someone will sight-in her rifle.

“This is an ongoing list of historical, popular, and Biblical people; fictional characters, as well as animals that Sarah Palin has been compared to on FR:”

Why do I get this strong feeling that after Pres Palin has completed her term in 2021 with her legacy in place for all to see, this list will come back and bite you?
