A bill that would make New Jersey the second state in the nation to expressly declare that embryonic stem cell research is permitted was proposed yesterday by the state Senate's leading Democrat.

Senate Co-President Richard Codey (D-Essex) said he believes the bill is necessary to make a statement against a pending proposal to impose a nationwide ban on the research, which is allowed in New Jersey. The measure also would set up procedures that would allow the donation of surplus embryos for medical research.

Will somebody inform Nancy, Superman, and the Senator that Embyonic Stem Cells have been studied to death and show little or NO promise.

While at the same time Adult Stem Cells from Bone Marrow, Cord Blood, etc., show extreme promise!

Except Adult Stem Cell research doesn't help rationalize abortion, so why would they promote that? </sarcasm>

This is being exploited by the ABORTION mongers. You are right, embryonic stem cell research was alive and well during slick willie's terms and the results were non-existent. It is now legal in Britain, again with NO results........

Shameless that the murderers would be exploiting people so desperate.

They don't tell you how many people died because of it. There were cases of people who had Parkinson's disease and received stem cell implants only to have the horrendous side effect of having those cells grow bone and other body parts instead of L-dopa producing cells of the substantia nigra. Needless to say, those patients did expire.
Adult stem cell research is the only way to go with proven results worldwide.

Evidently you can take folks out of Hollyweird but never take Hollyweird out of the folks. Ms.Nancy is betraying her husband's lifelong sincerely held belief in life.

Yes, she is, and so is Barbara Bush as well who made it known after 41 left as president that she is pro abortion . I wonder if Nancy's fortune tellers predicted the president's illness. I wonder if she knows that she violated many of God's law by employing such a person?
