I think we're all convinced by now that George W. Bush has the cross hairs on Saddam Hussein.

And it's clear from the latest Fox News Opinion Dynamics poll that the American public supports action against Saddam by a huge, huge margin: 75 percent for

Saddam was behind it. Clinton covered it up and blamed it on his domestic political enemies. Bush appears to be covering-up for Clinton. So it goes........

I watched John Gibson of Fox earlier today and heard the commentary after he had an an interview with Jayna Davis.

She comes across as a professional reporter and investigator an makes a good case for otheres being involved.

I haven't an opinion on who else if anybody is involved. But..But I never could understand the rush to judgement and no follow up investigations.

What I mean is this. The Govt. seemed to bend over backwards to keep the investigation only to Fortier , Nichols and McVeigh.

I would have expected they would have said; OK we got those 3 people who were involved and we are going to keep looking for more until we are satisfied there are no more conspirators.

The Govt. didn't do that. They shut off any investigation beyond Mc Veigh , Nichols and Fortier. Case Closed.

Something is amiss there. - Tom

Well, whatever happens, it's nice to see that this has hit the mainstream.

Bush is very reluctant to do anything to make Clinton look bad. I think part of this is political reality (if the Senate majority Dems hate him now, think how much they'd hate him if he let Clinton swing in the breeze) and part of it is a reluctance to appear to be stooping to Clinton's level.

If enough public pressure builds up, removing the "personal attack" aspect, however, something may come of this. For one thing, even if Bush doesn't want to dig up the past, this stuff is not all past: these folks struck again on 9/11, and I'm sure they're planning another strike even as we speak.

From September 17, 2001:

Israeli Intelligence Agency (Mossad) warned CIA of attacks - CIA did not heed warning

Mossad officials traveled to Washington last month to warn the CIA and the FBI that a cell of up to 200 terrorists was planning a major operation, according to a report in the Sunday Telegraph here yesterday.

The paper said the Israeli officials specifically warned their counterparts in Washington that "large-scale terrorist attacks on highly visible targets on the American mainland were imminent." They offered no specific information about targets, but they did link the plot to Afghanistan-based terrorist Osama bin Laden, and they told the Americans there were "strong grounds" for suspecting Iraqi involvement.

That's a pretty early warning to "make it up."

Seems we had our own sources too.

"(if the Senate majority Dems hate him now, think how much they'd hate him if he let Clinton swing in the breeze)

Perhaps the Dems will decide Clinton and Clinton are more trouble than they're worth. Then, they will jump at the chance to throw C&C under the bus - they will not want to merely wound them.

Why is there be such a reluctance to send the dogs after Clinton from this administration?

In a speech to the Roman Senate Cicero stated: “A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious but it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable for he is known and he carries his banner openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.”

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN where are you? Why didn't you report it then and are you reporting it now?

Why is there be such a reluctance to send the dogs after Clinton from this administration?

Both the Republican and Democrat sides of the Party of Government believe that government is the answer, although they differ on what the question is. Because of this, neither will do anything that makes the institution of government look bad.

Every day is a great day for speculation!

It seems to me that Iran is being mentioned a lot lately.
