I for one refuse to acknowlege this crap as anything other than racism...
When it is thrown in my face as a "white boy" or "Honkey" or "Cracker" the "N" word just flies out of my mouth of it's own accord, along with a few other choice explitives.
I don't have to tollerate it and will not, period.
As far as rapist Tyson goes, I would not avoid his advances at all, If he wants to fight this "White P****", we're gonna fight. I just don't think he can fight worth a sh** with 7 inches of stainless steel sticking out of his heart! What a punk!

The types of issues the author is dealing with are those raised in impotency. The discussion has nothing to do with the real sources of power in our country which are wealth and economic clout.

When I was in the Navy, we had a terrific Mormon guy who was the center on our intramural basketball team. 6'5", about 250 pounds. We were a Navy hospital team and he was the hospital's maxillofacial surgeon. During one game, a Puerto Rican guy playing center for his team chested up to him and they were ready to square off. Out surgeon asked him if he wanted to test his manhood. The other guy said "Let's go!!" The surgeon told him, "OK, let's compare paychecks". The place erupted in laughter and the other guy had nothing to say.

Let's get real about the stuff in this article. We don't get excited about it because it's irrelevant. Joking about it is OK because it doesn't effect the real power base.

In his book Shaq Talks Back, Shaquille O'Neal wrote, "If you get dunked on by a white boy, you got to come home to your friends and hear it."

This is true. At the college I used to go to, one of our (white) players dunked on the (black) guy covering him, who was from one of the top rival schools. To rub it in, our guy said to him "How does it feel to get dunked on by a white boy"?

The other player was so mad he went looking for him that night, but couldn't find him. He settled for roughing up another guy, and getting fined by the campus police.
